We stayed in Casa Divina when we were supposed to stay in Casa Horizonte, and there was no charge for the upgrade! The homes are nice, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen were very well-equipped. The view is the best in the city. The pool and outside areas were a huge plus and well-maintained. This is a must-stay for anyone who's looking for space and a refuge from the bustling city. We didn't know this until we got there, but there is no AC, but we did have fans that worked well, and the pool is a good way to cool off.
The last part to reach the property was a pretty steep dirt road. Oaxaca is filled with hills, and so many locals are used to driving on steep hills and dirt roads. We were less familiar with the road, so we were a little nervous the first couple of times we went up, but we got used to it after a while. We rented a car, and it made it up just fine, but if you're not as familiar with these roads, it may be worthwhile to consider getting a 4x4. During the rainy season, the dirt road is more concerning, and so that's the only thing that would have us second-guess returning, but other than that, we loved the property.
I absolutely loved the vibe and details of this location. The property met all my expectations.
It is a bit out of town but worth the extra expense for the views and the quiet. It was exactly what I needed. The host will also provide the name of taxis that will take you into town so that you don't have to worry about rides.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort und haben es nicht bereut. Es ist einfach phantastisch! Alles... die Lage, die Ausstattung, der Komfort und diese unbeschreibliche View... egal, zu welcher Tageszeit, einfach unglaublich schön!!

Naja, bei der Schlüsselübergabe gab es ein Problem....mußten etwas warten ;) aber gut, passiert. Ansonsten gibt es wirklich nichts zu bemängeln! Nada....
wären wirklich gerne länger dort geblieben...
The view is spectacular, and the facility is truly one of a kind. It’s a real treat to wake up to a mountain view and enjoy a getaway from the city. The property feels like a true oasis. I especially enjoyed the short trails on the grounds, the small garden, and the spacious common areas in the lodge.
Even though the property guidebook states that biking and hiking in the area are allowed, this is not actually safe due to aggressive dogs nearby. I had an incident on Day 1 where a neighbor’s dog bit and tore my pants. On Day 2, the bikes provided by the property were in very poor condition. My partner biked downhill when the bike broke down, forcing him to walk for an hour to return to the property, while encountering stray dogs along the dirt road.
Absolutely amazing location
It’s a difficult drive to get there and in the rain it will not be possible in a normal car
It was very relaxing, with an incredible view over the city of Oaxaca. The pool was wonderful to sit by, have a beer and chill after exploring the city.
The kitchen facilities were wonderful easy to cook up a meal .
The couch was incredibly uncomfortable and broken. We were unable to sit on it to watch TV as a family of four and there were no other chairs to sit on. I had to go and get the outdoor furniture to sit on to watch television which was not comfortable.
The garden at the entrance and around the property could have been mowed as the grass was up past my knees .
Det er den bedste udsigt over byen og huset har alle redskaber der er brug for til selv at lave mad og hygge i de smukke omgivelser væk fra byen.
Det er langt fra byen og ingen taxa kan finde derop uden hjælp og guide fra hud bestyreren. Man skal regne med at betale mellem 2-300 pesos for at komme op eller ned fra boligen hver gang. Strømmen gik desværre den ene dag, men de men det samme men kunne ikke fikse alt, så vi havde ikke strøm i badeværelse og toilet i det sidste værelse i de sidsre 2 dage. (Tænker det er uheldigt). Vejene op til huset er ringe! Men igen heller ikke husejerens skyld.

Lo que no nos gusto es el acceso es importante que clarifiquen que el camino de terraceria es demandante, no apto para vehiculos automaticos, ya que no suben facilmente especialmente en condiciones de lluvia, hasta los estandar batallan, yp me vi en la necesidad de usar los taxis diario para ir y venir del centro al hospedaje, lo que me incremento el costo en 400 pesos diarios. por este servicio

Las vistas son espectaculares, especialmente al amanecer y atardecer. No nos faltó nada.
El camino para llegar es un poco difícil pero no imposible en un auto compacto.
