Plenty of other options in Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Cons:

Staff flat out lied that they had confirmed the booking the morning of the stay. Text messages clearly show the confirmations came after 7.30pm the same night of check-in. The same time they were calling me asking where I was.

Made no attempt to move the booking to a different day. It was a Sunday night in winter, outside of school holidays, and the Hotel was not booked out. They Just wanted to charge their cancellation fee.

I stay in Newcastle regularly for work, could have easily moved it to another day, but no interest in talking about it.

good but a few things could have been improved
Pros:

it was close to the event so location was great could walk to things

Cons:

the bed was way too soft felt like sinking in it. Also the clean towels we were given one of them had make up marks over it so wasn't clean

Another great stay at this well located and comfortable apartment hotel.
Pros:

We've stayed in a few different rooms at this hotel now and my favourite are the ones facing north with a balcony, overlooking the harbour. A bit noisier than the others but worth it for the sunshine and outlook. Excellent location and very comfortable (soft) beds.
