Perfect location, 3 or 4 minutes walk to Aghia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace. Easy 8 minute walk to the waterfront, Egyptian Bazaar etc. Tram nearby.
Spacious, comfortable room much fancier than I expected for a "basic single". Comfortable queen size bed, great shower. Excellent WiFi and Aircon.
Very nice breakfast buffet with enough choices for a vegetarian like me.
Lovely staff, very helpful. A quiet and calm hotel that aids recovery from your hectic day. Great value for money.
I would definitely stay here again.

Opholdet på Albatros Hagia Sophia Hotel var desværre en blandet oplevelse.

Det positive var helt klart placeringen, som er rigtig god, samt sengene, der var komfortable. Derudover var to af medarbejderne meget venlige og hjælpsomme – især de to tyrkiske ansatte gjorde opholdet mere behageligt.

Cons:

Desværre overskyggede de negative oplevelser det positive. Værelserne var meget små, og morgenmaden var efter min mening ikke værd at bruge tid på. Køkkenpersonalet talte ikke engelsk, hvilket gjorde kommunikationen besværlig.

Det største problem var dog servicen fra ejeren. Ejeren virkede arrogant og uinteresseret i at hjælpe gæsterne. Hver gang man spurgte om noget, var svaret blot “I don’t know”, uden at der blev gjort nogen indsats for at undersøge sagen nærmere eller hjælpe videre.

Jeg forstår ærligt talt ikke de mange gode anmeldelser, hotellet har fået, og jeg vil desværre ikke anbefale dette hotel.

Великолепная локация,всё интересное в пешей доступности. Чисто.На завтрак большой выбор.Отзывчивый персонал.

Cons:

Номер казался на фото более большим,видимо за счёт зеркальной стены.Но это не критично.И в номере пахло чем-то химическим,трудно сказать что это,может против насекомых что-то.Мы спали с открытым балконом.

Уютные и чистые номера, очень удобное расположение — близко к основным достопримечательностям. Персонал на ресепшене всегда приветливый и отзывчивый.

Особенно хочу поблагодарить администратора Дмитрия. Он не только подсказал, как удобно и дешевле добраться на метро вместо такси, но и сказал, что если я вдруг потеряюсь, могу позвонить ему, и он поможет сориентироваться. Такое человеческое участие сейчас встречается нечасто.

Возвращаюсь в этот отель уже в третий раз .

Only the location was fine

Cons:

The buffet breakfast was terrible it was also cold, and in one of the rooms it smelled like the sewerage. Also the bed sheets had lint all over it and one of the ac’s weren’t working.

Příjemný personál. Super lokalita. Snídaně neurazí, nenadchne.

Cons:

Koupelna by potřebovala rekonstrukci - sprchová hlavice tekla všude. Ve sprchovém koutě byla plíseň.
Pokoj byl pro tři maličký, uzoučké postele, více méně na přespání dostačující.
