Wonderful city apartment for a great Pittsburgh experience!

Tv not working til 2nd day. No hot water til 2nd day. They kept changing my room code. So I couldn't get in the room etc.

December 2025 trip
Pros:

The location, it quiet, clean however it could use some updating due to wear and tear.

Cons:

Part of the wear and tear is a trim of wood on the floor between the tile area and waood floor. The trim is damaged and has screw head sticking up out of the floor. I unexpectedly stepped on one which punctuated my foot and caused bleeding and a very sore foot.
Also the ceiling light was burned out or didn't work.

An awesome first time expirience of Pittsburgh, would recommend to anyone!

The area was awesome.
The space was huge for myself.
I felt comfortable in the apartment.
The heater was well needed and worked the whole time.

i think you should specified the entrance it's on blvd of the allies and not on smithfield ! that's my only note. other than that the place is pretty nice , beautifully maintained and organized. thank you! I would definitely recommend~!

Our stay here worked out really well
Pros:

Originally, I missed the communications from Stay Pittsburgh because I did not have my notifications turned on however, once I got there, the property was super communicative and we were able to get checked in / registered within minutes and into our room. We were pleasantly surprised.

Pros:

The fire alarm went off multiple times. We found out from the fire chief that this happens multiple times a week and has never communicated with people that stay there. Multiple people in the building had been locked out because their code hadn’t worked and had had issues with their room temperature not being set or not being with they expected. There were gunshots overnight right outside the building and drug deals going on across the street. We were also told by fireman staff to not come to the area as it is very unsafe and dangerous. We were directed to stay inside and lock our doors. I have tried to communicate with management about this issue and they have sent me back an automated text message each time, but they have sent to many other others in the buildings. I will never stay in a place like this again and do not recommend to anyone.

Pros:

The stay was wonderful - the property is located within walking distance of the convention center and has a Target nearby as well as great restaurants. The area nearby can be a little noisy at night with loud cards driving by, but overall the property was well kept and the host's communication was quick and thorough. I'd be happy to stay here again.
