Personal freundlich!

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und hat eine fantastische Lage für den Sonnenuntergang!

Fahrräder kann man direkt beim Hotel leihen und kann so die Insel erkunden.

Uns hat diese ruhige Seite von gili air Jesse gefallen und wir hatten tolle Tage im Island view.

Ggf fehlt der Pool aber man hat das Meer vor der Haustür mit Sonnenliegen.

Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiter! Leckeres Essen und einen unbezahlbaren Blick!

Flotte bungalows i den smukkeste have. Sødt personale og udemærket restaurant.

Cons:

Der var en del lavvande i de 4 dage vi var der og svømning var meget vanskeligt fra kl 11-12 og frem.

We have stayed here before so came back as it was beautiful. Staff are fantastic. Very relaxing

The room we were in wasn't as nice as the last time. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit tired looking and very dark. No hot water.

Deze review kent twee compleet verschillende kanten!

- Het personeel is over het algemeen geweldig. Enorm aardig en vinden het leuk om een praatje te maken met interesse.
- De familiebungalow waar wij zaten was echt top. Alles zag er netjes uit. Enige minpunt zou de klamboe zijn, die misschien gewassen kan worden, maar dat zie je uiteraard wel vaker in Azië.
- De locatie is natuurlijk erg mooi aan het strand en de tuin is goed onderhouden.
- Bijbehorende ontbijt is genoeg keuze en smaakte bij ons goed.

Cons:

Nu de mindere kant van ons verblijf:
- De medewerkers van de front desk vonden wij wat minder passend. In tegenstelling tot eigenlijk alle andere hotels waar wij op Indonesië zijn geweest, begroeten ze je eigenlijk nooit bij terugkomst in het hotel. De medewerkers van het restaurant vangen dit wel met hun enthousiasme, dus misschien zijn de taken zo verdeeld.
- Omdat er meer boekingen waren dan kamers beschikbaar tijdens ons verblijf, moesten wij halverwege wisselen van bungalow. Dit was vooraf niet verteld, maar we zijn flexibel, dus prima.
- Echter ging het vanaf hier slechter: de nieuwe kamer zou om 12:30 klaar zijn, dus wij hadden onze oude kamer ‘s ochtends verlaten en spullen ingepakt zodat schoonmakers dat zouden verplaatsen.

Vervolgens kwamen we om 13:00 terug en moesten de mensen voor ons nog uitchecken…. Uiteindelijk konden we pas om 15:00 de kamer in en hebben we dus vrijwel heel de dag zonder spullen en fatsoenlijke kamer verbleven. Een gemeend excuus bleef naar onze mening uit en zelfs tijdens het wachten was enige compensatie niet aanwezig. Dit had natuurlijk veel netter opgelost moeten worden.
- De tweede bungalow waar we verblijven was eigenlijk in alles echt minder netjes. (De waterdruk was slecht, gordijnen sluiten niet goed af, badkamer ziet er vies en oud uit, bed lijkt van mindere kwaliteit en de voordeur gaat enorm lastig open en dicht).

Helaas, mede door onhandige communicatie en service voor ons dus overwegend negatief. Maar het zou een stuk positiever zijn als we constant het mooiere verblijf hadden en de hulp van front desk gewoon normaal was.

Pros:

Perfect spot for the sunset on Gili Air. We lucked out and spent our whole evening in one of the huts by the beachfront of the bungalows. Staff was super attentive throughout and it was great to just have a chat with them as well.

The rooms were beautiful and it was the comfiest bed I slept on our whole trip. Big sized rooms and shower. The comfy hammock outside was amazing for an afternoon nap as well.

Een heerlijke relaxed vibe.
Pros:

De sfeer (beachvibe) en de locatie aan zee.
Verder was het personeel erg vriendelijk er werd er elke ochtend een vers ontbijtje voor je gemaakt.

Cons:

Je ziet overal in Indonesië dat eigenaren jaarlijks veel onderhoud moeten uitvoeren door de weersomstandigheden. Wij verbleven in een deluxe bungalow en dit was helemaal prima, ik zou de badkamers alleen weer verven zodat het er uit blijft zien zodat op de foto’s van Booking.com.

Vacacionen en el paraiso
Pros:

La cabaña es bonita y el entorno idílico. El personal es súper amable y nos facilito todo tipo de servicios que necesitamos. Alquiler de bicis, excursión de snorkel todo muy rápido y bien de precio. Los desayunos incluidos en el precio de la villa son fantásticos, ricos abundantes y en la misma playa, un privilegio empezar así el día. Cominos y cenamos un par de veces en el restaurante y estaba todo muy bueno y con muy buen ambiente. La puesta de sol en este lado de la isla preciosa.

Cons:

El baño de nuestra villa era mejorable y había muchísimos mosquitos en él. Un poco justa para una familia.
La playa de enfrente esta bien para ver la puesta de sol pero para bañarse y hacer snorkel mejor ir al lado contrario de la isla. No supone un problema porque Gili air es muy pequeña y con la bici llegas en un momento y es parte de su encanto.

We absolutely love this little place. It’s our second time staying. Lovely bungalows, with super comfy beds located in the quieter part of the Island. The staff is great, always with a smile! Special shout to Made and Juli.

Island living at is best!
Pros:

We always choose to stay at Island View and the staff welcome us back like family. No need to venture out to organise bikes, scooters or activities because the staff will organise for you at the best prices on the island.

Our family enjoy going for a fishing trip each year, this year our son caught a huge wahoo. We gave the majority of the fish to the locals but saved a small portion to have for dinner and Island View cooked for us on their beach bbq! Was delicious.

The rooms are always exceptional, clean and the AC is cold! Sunset is right out front. Location is great, but the best part of island view is the amazing staff. Each time we ride past during the day we feel like celebrities as they all wave and sing out to us wishing us warm cheer!

We love Island View and can’t wait to return soon!
