Very clean and had exceptional views

I highly recommend staying at Desa Oculus. The staff is fantastic, highly attentive, and available 24/7. A special thank you to Kak Widianti, who took the time to show us all the best spots around the property.
The food is exceptional. Everything is freshly made and delicious, and the on-site restaurant stays open late into the night. This is incredibly convenient, as there is no need to order food from outside. We booked the afternoon tea with a beautiful view of Mount Batur, which was perfect. We also enjoyed a floating breakfast at the infinity pool around 11:00 AM; the weather was wonderful and completely comfortable, not hot at all.
We stayed in a corner room with a mountain view, and the experience was flawless. The room was spotless with absolutely no bugs. The amenities were fully stocked and smelled wonderful, especially the soap. The bed was huge and soft, making for a perfect night's sleep. Overall, this was an incredible stay, and I cannot recommend it enough!

The service was exceptional throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The highlight was the breathtaking view of Mount Agung, Mount Abang, and Mount Batur, which made waking up each morning a truly memorable experience. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

Staff are delightful and food very good.
Room on 2nd floor had great views. Pool area is beautiful. Trip to Trunyan and the special cemetery was a highlight.

Very tranquil and calming place with unforgettable view to Batur.
Restaurant didn't disappoint, food was delicious with life music.

Only the location was ok, despite it is near the road full of heavy trucks

The spacious room & view of the lake.

What can I say - this is the most wonderful hotel, from which you do not want to leave. The hotel is in a very good location, access is good. The staff is extremely attentive and caring. The hotel has several restaurant locations, plus a bar by the pool. The food is incredibly delicious. The rooms - wow!!! Very beautiful, clean and cozy. And most importantly - the view is fabulous. I would like to come back here again and again. Thank you very much for the welcome.

The Location was good but due to houseflies we didnot enjoy the bfast. The vegetarian options for very less.

Firstly the staff at this hotel are awesome, super positive, friendly and helpful in every way. To mention a few, Nita Suma and Saputra thanks for making our stay most welcoming.
Why only the 4 stars, well the flies aside (thanks to the chickenpoo fertilisers on Kintamani’s farmland) although considered ‘cooler’ in temps than other parts of Bali, it can still get hot and stuffy and with no aircon can get uncomfortable. No mini fridges either in the rooms and not so much a major issue for us but if you have kids with you, no TV’s either. There are also plenty of stairs to keep you fit too!
Food and services are though very good. We ate here as well in the restaurant and including the breakfasts and could not fault any of the dishes, all excellent.
The views are impressive overlooking Danau Batur and the volcanic mountains. Early morning being best to glimpse the peak of Agung.
All in all it’s the staff that make this place.
Enjoyed it.
