Kindly note that the dress code required in the hotel’s restaurants during the evenings is smart casual, with long trousers for gentlemen.

Please note the half-board rates include an American Breakfast and a dinner buffet served in the hotel’s main restaurant “Aretoussa” (excluding beverages). Alternatively, a nontransferable dinner credit voucher will be granted per day, to be used in all the resort's a la carte restaurants (excluding beverages).

The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person’s ID and credit card.

Dogs up to 5 kg are welcome only in bungalows and are not allowed in public areas, such us Restaurants, Beach area, Pools.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Lovely hotel with lovely staff overlooking a picturesque bay.
Pros:

Beautiful setting. Wonderful staff.

Cons:

Needed handrails on stairs. No toilet on the first floor restaurant. No entertainment after dinner.
Would have liked a patio divider between rooms.
BBC TV reception was not good.

Pros:

Hotel na krásném místě, mimořádně příjemný personál, který ochotně řešil všechny situace, které nastaly. Velmi nápomocní, nic nebyl problém. Výborné snídaně a večeře. Vzhledem k začátku sezóny málo lidí. Každodenní úklid, večer vždy návštěva pokojské, zda něco nepotřebujeme.

Cons:

Bez auta delší vzdálenost k obchodům a restauracím mimo resort, určitě výhoda mít auto půjčené.

Das Standardrestaurant für Frühstück und Abendessen. Unterdurchschnittliche Qualität und schlechtes Ambiente (u.a. verdreckte Platikschalusien als Windschutz die keinen Blick auf das Meer ermöglichen). Doppelzimmer allenfalls durchschnittlich.

Wir kommen wieder!!!
Pros:

Lage ist wunderschön, das Personal ist freundlich und Kompetent! Unser Zimmer war perfekt mit Blick aufs Meer! Die beiden Spezialrestaurants sind ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Habe ich mich vor Ort geäussert! Die griechischen Zimmermädchen waren sehr nett und fleissig! Die Reception ist vorbildlich!

A wonderful, relaxing stay here to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Pros:

Fantastic location with beautiful views. Great choice of restaurants and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was upgraded and it was very comfortable with everything we needed.

Felt don’t like the authentic Greece
Pros:

It was a beautiful place very large. It had a homey feeling from the 1970s. I love that we could walk into the sea with a sandy bottom and it was lovely to swim.

Cons:

I love the property. The village near it was so so but I could’ve used a few more days there. It was very relaxing.

Cons:

2 Stars – Disappointing Stay at Elounda Bay Palace

My reservation was for a room in the main building, but upon arrival, I was placed in another one entirely. The so-called “soundproof” room let in every noise from the elevator and screaming children in the hallway. The promised ocean view turned out to be of the pool and a palm tree.

The room reeked of heavy perfume sticks trying to cover up a clear mildew smell coming from the bathroom, where the shower also leaked water across the floor. The entire resort feels dated—both the rooms and the common areas have definitely seen better days. The buffet breakfast was subpar and felt more like a midrange hotel than a luxury resort.

To their credit, the staff was kind and arranged for me to move to their sister property after one night, which was somewhat better. Still, it’s hard to believe this hotel is part of the Leading Hotels of the World.

Merveilleux séjour. Agréable et reposant. Tout y est (sauf la gastronomie). Le restaurant Thalassa

Magnifique hôtel, jardins luxuriants, belles plages et piscine. Un havre de paix. Très luxueux. Très bien géré.

Cons:

Le restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur. Beaucoup de choix mais produit et cuisine basique. A améliorer.
