Pros:

The room was very clean, enough within walking distance and also parking for bikes and plenty of tuktuks outside. Staff were extremely helpful with everything we needed.

Happiness Beach Resort is just that- a happy beach resort.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Denis, Milo, Rise, Fatima and all the other staff greeted me everyday with a smile and a chat. The resort is in a good central location. The cafe and restaurant serve great food and coffee. The staff made me feel very welcomed.

Pros:

Staff were lovely, good facilities close by like the cafe, bar, restaurant and pool. Extra amenities like laundry and massages offered too. Overall the room was a good size and nicely furnished. We booked some tours through the resort which were good.

Cons:

Our toilet continuously smelled like waste from the moment we arrived, it could be smelled from the main room. I only brought this up with staff at the end due to assuming a leak so I’m unsure what action would have been taken if it was brought up earlier.
Unfortunately, this resort is not Filipino/ locally owned. I wish I had done research before as I personally would prefer to support local. nevertheless the majority of staff were Filipino/local.

Pros:

Great location, but for the price, we found that there were better accommodation options that were better priced.
Pros:

The room was spacious and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was a good in between from the surfing places at Cloud 9 and close enough to General Luna that was most lively.

Cons:

Beach front was very disappointing - it was mangrove like and rocky, not a sandy beach.
The AC in the room was located away from the sleeping area and although there was a fan, the room was stuffy throughout the day and also in the night. Was liveable but not ideal.
The shower head in the toilet was also faulty and worked periodically.
