Excellent stay!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Corfu Holiday Palace. The location is fantastic, the views are beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and made our visit to Corfu even more enjoyable. We would happily stay here again!

Decent stay but not top notch five star room
Pros:

Excellent service and friendly staff, Ideal location for plane spotting ;-) , just walking distance to restaurants that have very good view for that. Bus stop at the entrance of the hotel or just 10 minutes drive to old town.

Cons:

The hotel have potential but it requires significant improvements to its maintenance. For example, the bathrooms are very outdated and do not meet the standards you would expect from a five-star hotel.

Dreadful. And very disappointed.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok and nice bar

Cons:

Rooms outdated no chest of drawers. Stains on floor under aircon. Plugs for lights could see outer wires. In two days did not manage to get sun-bed by pool or beach. Beach messy and dirty. Beach bars closed 530. Swimming pool sign said closed at 1900 but lifeguard said it was 1800 when he finished his shift. Coffee machines all ran out of water. Shower rooms for check out day no soap or shampoo. Definitely not 5 star. Like the Kontokali Bay resort we had just checked out of.

Delightful hotel with exceptional staff
Pros:

We had been sailing for a week previously and arrived, hot & tired at around 09:30 on Saturday morning (group of 5). The reception staff were great and organised to store our bags, have towels for the pool and somewhere to change. The rooms would be ready at 15:00. The other two rooms were ready on time but ours was not s- they apologised and said that there would be a delay but would upgrade us - the suite they gave us was amazing - really lovely with great views. Throughout our stay the staff were all delightful - really lovely and could not do enough to help. It was what we always love about Greece.

Cons:

The poolside sun loungers were few in number and subject to the dawn towel placers, as were those on the beach below the hotel.

Overall, the stay was great, the hotel was nice !
Pros:

The bed. The easy access to the beach. Even the beach was not great. The bar was very good, all the time there was something going on.
The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

There was no place to park to de load. Our toilet was way too close to the sink in the standard room.
No net at the balcony door.
The shower design was not good, after showering there was always puddle outside.
Not many lounge bed around the outdoor pool

Dreadful service and a room that smelt of sewerage.

The room we were in had a terrible, sickening smell. We made staff aware and they tried to fix it but it persisted. The toilet was also not working properly and we had to use the facilities in the restaurant. Absolutely appalling not to have a toilet that was working. We asked to move room but they didn’t have a room for us. The smell
Was so bad it made us feel sick. It was completely dreadful. I would never recommend this hotel and would actively tell people not to stay here. We received a v small amount in compensation. All we wanted was a room that didn’t smell horrible. The worst experience I have had at a hotel.

Это был самый плохой опыт. Отель очень старый, в номере была плесень, персонал хамил.
Cons:

Это был один из самых неприятных опытов проживания в отеле. Совершенно не понимаю, как этот отель может позиционировать себя как пятизвездочный.

Мы приехали поздно вечером после долгого перелета. Сотрудник на стойке регистрации по имени Thomas с самого начала общался грубо и совершенно не был заинтересован в помощи гостям. Когда мы попросили помочь с багажом, он ответил: «Уже никого нет. Это не моя работа. Что я могу сделать?». Когда мы обнаружили, что кондиционер в номере не работает, реакция была такой же: «Это не моя работа».

Сам номер оказался в состоянии, которое совершенно не соответствовало фотографиям на Booking.com. Кондиционер не работал, на деревянном полу были следы длительной протечки и плесень, внутри кондиционера также была плесень. Номер выглядел очень старым, изношенным и неухоженным. В чайнике мы обнаружили остатки мыла и осадок, что вызвало серьезные сомнения в качестве уборки.

По нашему мнению, состояние номера было неприемлемым для проживания и вызывало опасения с точки зрения гигиены. Однако после длительного перелета и общения с агрессивно настроенным сотрудником у нас уже не было сил выяснять отношения ночью, поэтому нам пришлось провести там первую ночь.

К сожалению, утром ситуация не улучшилась. Замена номера превратилась в очередное испытание. Нас несколько раз просили «подойти через полтора часа», не предлагая никакого реального решения. Когда мы попросили пригласить менеджера, который мог бы урегулировать ситуацию, нам ответили: «Скажите спасибо, что мы вообще меняем вам номер, а не требуйте менеджера».

Сам отель очень старый и нуждается в серьезном обновлении. Персонал не проявлял желания решать проблемы гостей. Отель расположен далеко от города, и вызвать обычное такси самостоятельно оказалось непросто: сотрудники соглашались связываться только с компанией-партнером, предоставляющей трансферы. Кроме того, из-за близости аэропорта шум самолетов хорошо слышен в номерах.
