Rose Dale Guest Inn Ella

Very beautiful location. Sitting in the balcony watching the peacocks and other birds and animals was really relaxing. The rooms are lovely too, nice and clean and with everything you need. The hosts make the stay perfect. Very kind and friendly, helping with where to go and arranging things if needed. Finally breakfast was exceptional with delicious local food served on the balcony. Can't wait to visit again.

Het uitzicht van op het terras is prachtig, het ligt erg rustig, het ontbijt is voortreffelijk en wisselt dagelijks, de familie die het uitbaat is erg lief en hartelijk. We hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf en vonden het jammer om te vertrekken

We hebben het hier erg naar onze zin gehad. Prima kamers en een prachtig uitzicht. Familie heel vriendelijk en willen je overal bij helpen. Super lekker ontbijt! Wij vonden het heel leuk om over het spoor naar Ella te lopen. Bij Savory havens aan het spoor kun je verder prima eten.

Vista incantevole, camere ampie e super pulite, dotate di tutto. L'accoglienza e l'attenzione per l'ospite sono uniche. Appena arrivate ci è stato offerto un thè con biscotti e frutta sulla nostra meravigliosa terrazza. Consiglio vivamente la cena cucinata sapientemente dalla mamma dell' host, il miglior Rice & curry. Host sempre disponibile a qualsiasi orario per organizzare gli spostamenti o dare consigli. È disponibile anche il servizio lavaggio vestiti, accurato anche questo. Posto indimenticabile

De eigenaren waren zo ontzettend lief, niets was teveel , kookte heerlijk voor ons en alles was zo schoon! Het appartement is prachtig en wat zo fijn was , is dat we heerlijk buiten konden zitten op het grote balkon met prachtig uitzicht. Het ontbijt was ook met veel liefde bereid! Het dorp was goed te bereiken via het treinspoor.

First of all - the hosts were extremely sweet and helpful. The place is beautiful with a stunning mountain view. Perfectly clean room and delicious and varied breakfast prepared with care and love.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Dale Guest Inn in Ella and would highly recommend it!

The location is simply incredible. Surrounded by lush nature, it truly feels like staying in the middle of the jungle, with the most beautiful and relaxing sounds all around you. It is the perfect place to unwind while still being just a short ride from the lively center of Ella.

The breakfast was excellent, and we especially loved the fresh tropical fruits every morning. We also had dinner several times, which is lovingly prepared by the owner’s mother. Every meal was delicious and tasted homemade.

The host is exceptionally kind and responds to messages very quickly. She was always happy to help with our travel plans and gave us valuable advice throughout our stay.

If you enjoy hiking, this is an ideal place to stay. Many of Ella’s beautiful mountain trails are easily accessible, while the town center with its restaurants and cafés is still close by.

A truly unforgettable experience in Ella. We would definitely stay here again!

Heel vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt, mooie locatie

The view from the verandah was exceptional as it looked out across the jungle around Ella. The short walk via the train tracks was fun and special too. The room was clean and the service from our hosts was warm and generous. We also loved the breakfasts each day which were included. The hosts are willing to help with transport and restaurant suggestions. We did laundry while there which was nice and easy. Breakfast was on the verandah was so awesome too!

The family who run this property are so lovely. They were so accommodating and also made a great breakfast (while dad keeps the monkeys away so you can enjoy the food outside). The accommodation was perfect for us 4 adults and we had zero complaints. Nice 10-15 min stroll along the railway to the main area. It was so nice to be close to the main area but also feel like we were in the jungle almost with the views and sounds in this area.

Wat een prachtige kamer! We hebben ontzettend genoten van dit verblijf, het beste in Sri Lanka tot nu toe. De kamer is nieuw, heel ruim en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht.
Tijdens een regenbui konden we droog op het terras blijven zitten door de overkapping.
Het ontbijt was iedere dag anders en heel uitgebreid en lekker.
De gastvrouw en haar ouders zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze kon goedkoop een tuktuk regelen naar verschillende activiteiten (tuktuks zijn in Ella centrum behoorlijk overprijsd) en had goede tips over bezoek aan een organische theeplantage en kookles dichtbij.
De weg ernaartoe is wat smal en heuvelachtig, maar te doen met een auto. Het laatste stukje moet je het spoor oversteken, maar we werden geholpen met onze koffers. Je kan over het spoor naar het centrum van Ella lopen binnen een kwartier.
Vlakbij langs het spoor zitten leuke kleinschalige restaurantjes met mooi uitzicht.

Les hôtes sont extrêmement gentils et serviables. Le petit déjeuner typique était bon et copieux.

Tolle Aussicht, Lage direkt an den Schienen, super als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, in 15 min ist man in die town gelaufen und findet dort alles was man braucht. Die Familie ist sehr bemüht und geht auf alle Wünsche ein und ist gut erreichbar. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen 😍

Perfectly adorable home stay. The family was very friendly and helpful. The location and the views from the room were unbelievably beautiful. The home is located next to the train tracks, so the easiest way to reach it is by walking along the tracks.
