Titicaca Sariri Lodge

This is an experience Hotel, something entirely different. Given that, it is superb experience. It is managed by Isaac and his family and he does everything to introduce you into the way of life of the Uros. We went out in one of his fishing boats, a magically experience gliding through the Dottore reads, listening to the sounds of birds and experiencing the calm of that Lake. In the evening he made a meal for us, in the morning, breakfast. Both were great. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of luxury within a very authentic setting. The pickup and drop off to the pier works very well, the trip is about 30 minutes.

Our wonderful hosts Isaac and Gladys met us at the dock and from that moment we knew we would have a wonderful and unique experience. The view from our room and sun deck was stunningly beautiful and we loved watching the sunset and sunrise. As it can be very cold in the evening/night, a fire was provided, as well as extra blankets and hot water bottles! We loved going out with Isaac on his reed fishing boat and hearing all about his family history and their way of life over the years. I’d worried about the sawdust non-flushing toilet, but it was absolutely fine! Apart from the wonderful views and unique experiences, it was Isaac and Gladys that made this a very special place. No tourist trappings (though you do have the option to buy Gladys’ craft work. (We bought a lovely embroidered cushion cover) without feeling pressurised. We heartily recommend this unique accommodation- it’s truly life enhancing. Wish we could have stayed an extra night. Isaac was very flexible about timings and took us back to the dock to meet our taxi for the bus station. We were in safe hands!

Soggiornare al Titicaca Sariri Lodge è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa che porteremo sempre nel cuore. La struttura, interamente costruita in totora, galleggia su un silenzio magico: mia moglie ha paragonato la pace e la serenità di questo luogo a quelle delle Maldive.
​La nostra stanza era spaziosa, con due letti molto comodi e una vista mozzafiato sul lago. Ma il vero valore aggiunto è Isac, un proprietario superlativo: si fa letteralmente in quattro per i suoi ospiti. Ci ha fatto vivere bellissime esperienze autentiche, come la pesca tradizionale, facendoci sentire parte della cultura locale.
​Inoltre, è stato di una gentilezza rara: avendo l’autobus in tarda serata, ci ha permesso di utilizzare la stanza ben oltre l’orario del check-out. Se cercate un luogo unico, umano e rigenerante, questo lodge è un vero sogno ad occhi aperti. Consigliatissimo!

The location is amazing and the host Isaac and his wife Gladys are such genuine and warm people.

Issac und seine Frau waren super lieb und gastfreundlich. Sie haben uns mit zum Angeln genommen und den Gefangenen Fisch gab es Abends in der Fischsuppe. Sowohl Abendessen als auch Frühstück im Zimmer waren sehr lecker!
Die Unterkunft war super gemütlich und abends gab es sogar Wärmflaschen.
Auch der Transport sehr früh morgens zurück nach Uros hat problemlos geklappt.

Isaac ist ein besonderer Gastgeber und die Nächte auf seiner Insel waren auch besonders. Die Häuser auf dem Schilf sind sensationell und es war insgesamt auch nicht so voll bei den Uros wie befürchtet.
Isaak hat uns mit zum Fischen genommen, wir waren mit ihm mittags mit dem Boot auf einer anderen schwimmenden Insel und er hat uns sehr spontan eine Bootstour nach Taquile besorgt, sehr zu empfehlen. Er hat uns auch mal eben zu einem kleinen Laden auf eine Nachbarinsel gefahren (3 Minuten).
Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und fanden das genau richtig.
Isaac und seine Frau sind einfach sehr sehr freundlich und ihr Platz besonders.

This is a wonderful way to experience the Uros Islands. Isaac and his wife were so friendly and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Isaac took us fishing and on a tour of the islands as well. Highly recommend if you want a more authentic experience of this incredible place.

Alles war toll
- Transfer hin und zurück hat wunderbar funktioniert
- Das Zimmer war ein Traum, sehr groß, gemütlich und warm (wenn man möchte)
- Isaac war sehr freundlich und hat uns mit zum Fischen genommen. (Er sollte nur sein Englisch nicht so klein reden, das war so viel besser als unser Spanisch)

Séjour vraiment incroyable sur le lac titicaca ! Après que le propriétaire soit venu vous chercher au port vous partez pour une petite session pêche et explication sur le lac et la vie des habitants. Le soir vous faites un tour de l’île qui est très sympa
Le logement est magnifique, avec une grande terrasse avec lit extérieur et transat sur lesquels on peut prendre le soleil.
On vous propose du chauffage et des bouillottes pour le soir car les températures se rafraîchissent vite !
Le lendemain petit déjeuné excellent
Les hôtes sont très arrangeants, nous devions partir tôt le matin, ça n’a pas posé soucis et on nous a même prévu un taxi pour aller au terminal de bus !
Vous pouvez séjournez là bas les yeux fermés

Isaac et sa famille sont d'une gentillesse énorme.
Les chambres sont belles, propres et grandes. Nous avons même pu profiter du lit sur la terasse pour y faire une petite sieste avec une magnifique vue.
Malgré le froid là nuit nous avons 4 couvertures, la possibilité d allumer un chauffage à gaz et ils nous amène meme des bouillotte.
L eau de la douche est chaude il faut juste patienter une dizaine de minute et vous aurez une bonne douche chaude.
Le calme du lieu et la vu sont exceptionnels.

Nos encanto. De primera la atención del Sr. Isaac y su esposa Gladys es espectacular. Te tratan como familia, te consienten y te ayudan en todo lo que pueden. La vista del cuarto es impresionante, tiene calefacción por lo que no pasaras frío. El desayuno es riquísimo.

Creo que va a ser recordada como una de las experiencias de mi vida. Un sitio con mucha calma y todo cuidado al detalle.Gladys e Isaac son grandes anfitriones. Me encantó charlar con ellos y que me explicaran la forma de vida de las islas
