Good old town feel in Lijiang Old Town
Pros:

Beautifully designed with nice courtyard and garden with modern facilities such as automatic toilet flush, warmed seat and bidet. Spacious bedroom with the heated bed which is so comfortable. Delicious breakfast and friendly owner with attentive service. They even offer take away breakfast for two days due to our day tour that starts early in the morning. Free flow of fruits during our stay. Near attractions and many eateries within walking distance of Lijiang Old Town.

Cons:

There is no elevator, hence no convenient for big luggage if staying at upper floor. A bit far from South Gate of Lijiang Old Town (10-min walk) especially when we have to lug our luggage walking on the cobble stone street since our tours pick up point were fixed at the South Gate.

Fantastic engaging stay. Peaceful and aesthetic with tailored and family driven service
Pros:

Beautiful family owned tea house. Very peaceful and nice escape from the loud noises and lights of the rest of the town. Amy the host was amazing and speaks very good English, very helpful. We were served tea constantly throughout the stay which helped us to relax and enjoy the town.

We werden heel goed ontvangen door Amy in dit familiaal hôtel. De ligging is uitstekend in het oude stadsgedeelte maar toch rustig. Ook het ontbijt was heerlijk. Een aanrader !!!

A charming small hotel in Lijiang
Pros:

A charming small hotel. Excellent location in the Old town of Lijiang. The owner is a sweet young lady who speaks English very well and is willing to help. Room was spacious, super clean, and with all the most modern amenities. Very comfortable bed, nice western breakfast - we loved our stay at this hotel.

Nothing - it was really great.

A must stay hotel in Lijiang
Pros:

This beautiful hotel is run by a wonderful family, who were very helpful with any request we had. The hotel is traditional style, in the center of Lijiang Old Town, right next to the river.
They made homemade breakfast everyday, either Chinese style or we could ask for a more Western substitute.
They also produce their own tea, which you can taste and later buy! Their black tea is delicious, definitely worth trying.
Our room was wonderful, beautiful, with a wet zone which had a shower, bath and a Japanese style toilet, which we enjoyed a lot. There was also a separare tatami area. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean.
Excellent service, we could communicate in English without a problem, and they also helped us carry our luggage to the main street - all in all, this hotel deserves the highest rating possible, and we will definitely choose it again the next time we visit Lijiang!

Cons:

There is nothing bad I can say about the hotel, it was the best experience we had while in China.

Sehr gute Lage in familienbetriebenem Boutque-Inn. Wunderschöner grüner Innenhof mit Teich. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Gehdistanz. Taxi kann nahe zur Unterkunft fahren, von wo aus man vom Hotel nach Voranmeldung abgeholt wird.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, in a very picturesque location on the banks of the canal. Thanks to this location, guests have the opportunity to explore the surroundings as much as possible without spending extra time and money on travel. The hotel itself, both inside and outside, is characterized by its beauty, authenticity, and great taste in design. The courtyard features a small bonsai garden where guests can sit and relax.
I would like to express my gratitude to the owner of the hotel, Tracy, for her warm welcome and support throughout our stay. She speaks excellent English, has a deep knowledge of the city, and is always ready to assist us. On the day of our arrival, she not only provided us with information about the places and activities to visit in Lijiang, but also helped us with our travel arrangements.
The breakfasts were very delicious and felt home-cooked. In addition to the fried eggs, the breakfasts included local dishes such as noodles, dumplings, and rice balls.

Mooie grote kamer en mooie locatie in de oude stad aan een kanaaltje. Vriendelijke en zeer behulpzame staf.

Cons:

Voorzieningen niet helemaal op het niveau die je bij een kamer in deze categorie en prijs verwacht. Bijvoorbeeld geen koelkast, geen badjassen en karig ontbijt. Geen groot probleem. Maar we kregen voor vergelijkbare prijs vaak een betere kamer in China.
