Heerlijke rustige plek, heerlijk ontbijt en lieve eigenaren die je overal mee willen helpen
Pros:

De mooie rustige plek met fantastisch uitzicht, de lieve eigenaren en het heerlijke ontbijt!

Cons:

De douche straal was erg zacht, weinig waterdruk en soms werd hij niet goed warm.

Fantastisch verblijf met uitzicht! Een absolute aanrader!
Pros:

Het uitzicht is prachtig. Bovendien zijn de eigenaren ontzettend lief en behulpzaam. Een van ons was ziek en ze hebben ons geholpen om de dokter te bereiken met de tuktuk.

Cons:

Er is geen airco aanwezig, wellicht goed om te weten. Alleen een ventilator, maar in principe volstaat dat als je kort eventjes de deur open zet ‘s avonds.

Für mich war der Aufenthslt super. Perfekte, ruhige Lage. Sehr leckeres Morgenessen. Tolle Gasgeber.

Pros:

The position overlooking the valley was so beautiful, not far from the village.
Staff was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable

Cons:

The bathroom was huge but unfortunately we had trouble with the shower head staying up but wasn't a real problem

Nice quiet option away from the bustle
Pros:

Currently, 4 good ground floor rooms with nice porches looking across a quiet dirt road across a big beautiful valley toward mini Adam’s peak. Rooms and beds are comfortable. The family and breakfast are lovely. It’s over a kilometer into town, a nice walk with a few restaurant and massage options along the way. Or the family has a tuktuk and can transport for reasonable fees.

Pros:

Pleasant host, does not speak much, but you get everything you need and want.
Great and large breakfast every morning on the porch, served by the host at the time of your wish.
Spectacular views of the valley and great place to start your tracks both ways in Ella.
Upon request, we had wonderful a Sri Lanka dinner.
Perfect place about 4 min drive from Ella centre (not it Ella, but really in a walking distance) - the initial drive up hill from main road is quite steep, but do not get scared of it.
Not many monkeys around - probably thanks to friendly guarding dogs, which however might steal your shoes, if you leave them on the floor. :)

Cons:

The accommodation (4 rooms conjoined in one bungalow - each with own patio, bathroom and entrance) are right next to the road. The road looks like a quite gravel track, but there is a lot of tuktuk traffic during night and early morning and the rooms do not have any sound protections (there is just net above the door). If you sleep well (as our kids), not a problem. For light sleepers (as us) you will get awaken several times.

Pros:

We loved everything! After 2 weeks in Sri Lanka I can confirm it was the best breakfast we had in a home stay. The hosts were super kind. We used the laundry service and 100% recommended. By car the way there seemed a bit intimidating but they showed us that by walking to the town through the train track shortcut we could do it in 10-15min, super easy and comfortable (take a flashlight if you will walk at night)
The views are beautiful, we watched the sunrise one morning and it was magical. The little "balcony" each room has at the front of the room to chill, read, eat is perfect.

Cons:

The water pressure of the shower was weak. The toilet was also weak at times, we had to add extra water and learn how to flush it. Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable, when it worked it was strong ut unfortunately it wasn't always working. These are really minor things and completely understandable from the location. 100% recommended.

Outstanding. Beautiful views of surrounding countryside and amazing breakfast.
Pros:

The accommodation is set in a beautiful position overlooking the Ella valley and across to Adam’s Peak. The views are stunning. The breakfast was incredible. The hosts very friendly. I would recommend. We tried to stop an addition night but sadly fully booked.

Cons:

Nothing- it is quite a walk into the main village. We hired a scooter so no problem for us.
