Sweet little gem in bradford
Pros:

Martha is such a great host, a pleasure to be around, goes out of her way to help you. Why cant all hotels or stays of this have such high standards in customer relations.

Pros:

I did not stay overnight as planned because I was very dissatisfied with the experience. I checked out and booked alternative accommodation elsewhere. I also requested a refund, as the situation did not meet reasonable expectations. Overall, it was a very poor experience..

Cons:

Communication from the staff was rude and unprofessional. I work at Bradford College and finished at 9:00 pm, then arrived at the property around 10:00 pm. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to a staff member, she responded by texting me and falsely suggesting that I was intoxicated. I do not drink alcohol, and I consider this allegation inappropriate and distressing.
The place appeared to be overstaffed, but the service was still poorly handled. The environment did not match expectations and felt more like a retail space than a proper accommodation.
I was initially told the charge would be £15, but I was later asked to pay £50 without clear explanation, which was unexpected and unacceptable.

Enjoyed Staying. Will Stay there Again.

VERY Friendly & Such a Warm Welcome.
Could have Stayed & Chatted Alot Longer.
Shame I had to Leave.
Price is Suited for The Room.

Cons:

Stairs Felt a little Dangerous Using Flip Flops.
Also Suggestion: Sensory Lights Might be a good idea For Some Area Like The Hallway as you enter the Property also Maybe On some of the Walkway/Corridors between Floors If The Stair lights are Off.

Very disappointing stay – misleading listing and extra charges

I would not recommend staying at this property. When I arrived, the building appeared to be under construction and the surrounding area felt unsafe, with a lot of trash around the street.

The room itself did not seem properly cleaned. There were visible hairs on the bed and personal items left in the room, which made it feel very unhygienic. The lady gave a room she was sleeping on.

Another issue was that although the room was listed for £28 , when I arrived the host asked for an additional £15 in cash for “cleaning,” even though I was only staying one night.

Overall, the experience was uncomfortable and did not match the expectations set by the listing. And I had to book elsewhere. I would suggest to avoid it.

Pros:

Martha is a lovely warm welcoming host. Put me completely at ease. And very understanding of my work situation. The house is always warm, clean and quiet. Very good security. The kitchen is top of the range. Tea and coffee , instant boil kettle. The room has a brilliant WI-fi tv with everything on it. , fridge freezer, ample storage. The Bed is big and comfortable, extra blankets, towels and slippers provided which was nice. The bathroom has some state of the art shower I've never seen before, (must be American!) More jets than stanstead airport ! Overall exceptional value for the little money i paid , I stayed for one week. And this is my first choice in Bradford shall i ever need to stay away again! 5*
