Mike's Luxury House

The bathroom has two pocket doors. Obviously the pocket door to the next room is locked both ways, but it leaves something to be desired in terms of soundproofing. That's just a reality of it being a house and only a pocket door separating the bathroom from the next bedroom. With my door to the bathroom closed it's okay as long as the other party is not talking loudly or making excessive noise. There's no TVs so that is good. The sky train station is at the oak ridge place mall, less than 10 minute walk, and the mall has a food court with local restaurants running the establishments rather than the usual chain restaurants. A safeway is opening soon. The downside is there are few other restaurants within walking distance. Maybe they'll be more in Oakridge place as it fully opens. There is a coffee shop on the corner by the house, and a good Vietnamese place just kitty corner to Oak Ridge Place.

Värden och annonsen var felaktiga - det är inte ett rum för tre personer. Sängen är för två personer, men tredje person fick ligga på en madrass på golvet. Det är inte 'tre personers rum' som annonseras.

1. I wanted to extend the check out time for a couple of hours because of the flight but Mr. Mike wanted to charge me extra money for it. In the email it says- if you want to extend the check out hours, please inform them a day earlier so that they can accommodate, but I guess it can only be accommodated after paying which to me was a surprise. I paid CAD 900 for 4 nights. Mr. Mike was explaining a lot about cleaning agents, timing for their arrival, etc, in the phone call but to me it didn't make any sense. I was hoping they would consider extending the check out hours if I inform them a day earlier but it's all about money.

2. The house is a bit dusty, I could see the dirt/dust stick under my socks. Mr. Mike talks about cleaning agents but I guess the agent doesn't clean it properly.

3. In the picture the house looks good and attractive but in real it's broken and old. Front and back yard over grown of plants and weeds. Looks like they haven't maintained for 6 months plus.

4. The main entrance door knob is broken.

Limpieza

The pillows need to be changed

Em nenhum momento o quarto foi limpo. Em 11 dias seria importante, pelo menos uma limpeza do ambiente.

Being that this posting states "mike's luxury house", i was expecting more, at least a comfy bed. The room i stayed in had an uncomfortable coiled bed. Mike replaced it with a 4 " memory foam. Other areas of the room could use some attention shown in pictures. Baseboards look like there has been water damage at one time, and the toilet seat needs replacing. I would suggest, putting a chain to lock from inside the bedroom door for safety. One tea bag, one water bottle, instant coffee and kettle provided for a seven day stay. I would suggest vacuuming the bed drawers as hair and dust are in there.
