Nice short stay
Pros:

We stayed at this lovely beachfront hotel for 1 night only as we were traveling back to Colombo from Arugambay. Overall the stay was great, we slept well and had a nice breakfast in the morning before our transfer to the airport.

Cons:

Because there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area they have a curtain around the bed which is very helpful to prevent mosquito bites but it's so cumbersome to do anything while in the room. There was a large roach (Palmetto bug?) that I saw coming out from behind the sink area at night, not a huge deal for me since I lived in a tropical area and kinda got used to seeing them.

Pros:

Traumhafte Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Zimmer sind modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, dies hat uns gut gefallen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück konnten wir ohne weiteres bestellen und war sehr reichhaltig. Wir durften sogar 3 Stunden früher einchecken, sowie 5 Stunden später als angegeben auschecken, auch dies lief problemlos ab.
Gegenüber liegt ein Restaurant mit sehr guten Essen.
Wir hätten gerne mehr als nur eine Nacht hier verbracht

Your own beach, lovely decorated, and great staff in Polhena!
Pros:

Beautifully situated on a quiet road between Matara and Polhena, right next to the beach. The reefs break the waves so even during the monsoon season you can swim here. But if you'd prefer, there's also a marvelous swimming pool. The chalets are cute, and the entire complex is very nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom at times, but I think this may have correlated with the heavy rains during our stay. Otherwise there's nothing I could think of.

Pros:

Alles. Het personeel, de kamers, de omgeving. Het hotel is door de Italiaanse eigenaren opgeknapt en wordt door lokaal personeel bestierd. En dat doen ze heel goed ! Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De hospita heeft verse vis , die we zelf gekocht hadden op de plaatselijke vismarkt, voor ons klaargemaakt. Echt super ! Wij hebben een paar extra dagen bijgeboekt.

Prachtige kamers. Fijne sfeer met een mooi zwembad.
Pros:

Hele mooie plek met mooie tuin aan zee. Klein stukje lopen of fietsen naar Polhena strand waar je kan snorkelen om schildpadden te zien.

Hôtel paradisiaque
Pros:

C’est un des plus beaux hôtels dans lequel j’ai séjourné.
Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il y a un accès direct à une petite plage. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Heerlijk verblijf
Pros:

Heerlijk zwembad met speelgoed, mooie tuin met ligbedden. Comfortabel huisje. Op 10 minuten van strand waar je kan snorkelen en schildpadden zien.
De manager was heel vriendelijk en had goede tips voor de omgeving.

D’abord,nous remercions Rozec pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et ses conseils.
Ensuite, nous avons apprécié l’aménagement extérieur avec la piscine et l’accès à une petite plage privée toute mignonne.
Quant aux chambres, elles sont décorées avec goût et sont très propres.

The best resort
Pros:

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful views away from the town. The pool is amazing and you have a private beach with a beautiful garden. The room was also cozy and clean. The staff was wonderful, so kind and welcoming!! The manager is the best :) we would love to come back and we definitely recommend it!!

Отель расположен в тихом месте, всего в 500 метрах от пляжа Полхена. Но самое удивительное — это собственная частная береговая линия с шезлонгами и гамаками! Это невероятное чувство, когда океан и уютный пляж находятся буквально в шаге от вашего номера. Территория виллы утопает в зелени, а ухоженный сад создает ощущение полного уединения и покоя.

🏡 Номера и удобства: стиль и комфорт
Номера оформлены в уникальном бутик-стиле — очень стильно и со вкусом. Везде идеальная чистота.. Из окон открывается потрясающий вид на сад или океан. Отдельного восторга заслуживает бассейн с панорамным видом — он стал нашим любимым местом для релаксации. Он большой, чистый .. Для детей на территории есть специальная зона и игровая площадка.

🤝 Персонал и обслуживание: забота на высшем уровне
Отдельная и самая теплая благодарность — персоналу и хозяевам виллы. Это не просто гостеприимство, а искренняя забота и дружелюбие. Рузайк был невероятно внимателен и помогал нам на протяжении всего пребывания.Создается впечатление, что ты гостишь у своих друзей, а не в отеле.

An idyllic pocket of bliss
Pros:

As soon as you enter the main gate of the premise, you're going to be blown away by the little microcosm of paradise that is on offer for the time you're going to spend here. Lush greenery, exquisite swimming pool, swings & play areas, Loungers, Enough space for parking in case you're driving down, cycles to take out for a spin and ofcourse the serenity of the beach at your perusal even though it's got coral reefs making it slightly hard to step in except if you have water resistant footwear but that won't stop you from taking a dip and will serve up views to soak in like none other. The closest beach is Polhena. My wife & I took the Chantal or the Deluxe double bedroom which had the wherewithal for a beach accommodation, cute & charming vibes, Big bed with mosquito net, AC, Cupboard, safe and pure creativity with lights, hangers and the attached bathroom. High chances of extending your stay just like we did and so many before us, almost like ritual now.

Lovely spread of Breakfast on order @5$ pp.

Shoutout to the host Ruzaik, The genius behind this work of art. Highly recommended to all the guests out there. Look for the sea view rooms if you find a good deal.
