Place like a dream house!
Pros:

The property was decorated so gracefully, every corner of it explained the aesthetic taste of the owner. I wish we stayed there for more nights! Including the pool, the property was very clean. The best part were buying groceries from the local market and cooking in the kitchen. We had excellent bubble tea and ice-cream in BING CHUN!

Cons:

Almost nothing. I wished they welcomed us with some fresh juice or lime drinks since it was very hot day!

Прекрасный отель, очень красивая территория, удобные номера. очень удобно было что есть бесплатные велосипеды - это очень удобно и полезно. есть общий холодильник и любая кухонная утварь и возможность что-то приготовить, нам это было важно.

Cons:

никаких проблем не испытывали, просто совет отелю, я бы обратил внимание на чистку бассейна и пляжа. это не проблема отеля, но в бухте бывает выбрасывает мусор на берег. мы ходили на черепаший пляж, там чище.

Had a nice vacation at a beautiful, calm and safe place.
Pros:

The pool was the central point of attraction. well maintained. The beach was just a step away from the property. Very nice staff. Property manager was very helpful and took care of us throughout the stay. If nature permits I would like to revisit this place. The entire neighborhood is peaceful and lovely people. Bicycles provided were top quality and I had fun riding them. A well equipped shared kitchen is also worth the mention.

Cons:

Hot and humid weather breeds mosquitoes. As we are from the tropics we are well adapted to it. Property tries its best to keep the mosquitoes away by using mosquito nets inside the room and mosquito repellent coil outdoor.

Magic location, friendly staff, an absolute little paradise!
Pros:

Three nights here with my two kids (8 & 11). Lovely place, absolutely stunning location by the sea, big swimming pool (kids loved it) and very friendly staff! Close to the beach and next to a nice restaurant. From your room at night you can hear the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks, magic!!

Cons:

wifi unasable, but I reckon it doesn't have to do with the property but with the mobile network.

A luxurious little seaside sanctuary
Pros:

We had a really relaxing two days and nights at Deep Blue and wished we could have stayed longer! The rooms and gardens are beautifully designed, with a good sized pool and different places to sit and lounge. And we really enjoyed using the free bicycles to explore the local area and other nearby beaches.

Pros:

I loved the peaceful, serene, calm ambience. The villa is very comfortable and I loved the interior designing of the rooms. Very artistic, thoughtful and antique type. The rooms were clean. The pool was really nice. It's a safe, calm place away from noisy crowds. Definite place to visit if you prefer to be away from the bustling crowds and get away into quiet nature with a private beach.

Cons:

I would have loved if there was a telephone to call room service but overall great experience.

A hidden gem
Pros:

A gem of a place nestled in a super quiet corner of Matara, right next to quite a pretty canal (that none of the other reviews seemed to have mentioned). And obviously the sound of sea while you're falling asleep in a hammock is unparalleled. The rooms were huge and really pretty to look at. The manager Ruzaik was super accommodative and had excellent suggestions regarding things to check out nearby. 10/10 would stay again

Cons:

The placement of the air conditioning with respect to the bed was kind of inconvenient but that's about it

Relaxing in paradise
Pros:

Super nice design, everything was clean, the host ist very friendly and has many recommendations. He helped us a lot to arrange our travels moving forward. There is a big pool and a small private beach which is especially great for swimming during the morning. We can highly recommend staying here 🥰

Pros:

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und wären gerne noch länger geblieben! Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und das Hotel ist wunderschön mit einem großen Pool direkt am Meer. Wir durften sogar länger bleiben am Abreisetag und den Pool weiter nutzen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker!
