Posizione in centro e proprietario molto gentile

Cons:

Le stanze danno su una stradina dove passano scooter tutta la notte e le finestre sono molto sottili, quindi è davvero difficile dormire. Sono stata solo una notte e poi ho cambiato sistemazione

Pros:

I stayed in this house for three weeks. It was comfortable and close to everything in Ubud. There was an optional breakfast at a good price with coffee, and the owners were friendly. However, I saw some insects in the bathroom, and the house was next to a road where motorcycles pass.

Pros:

Cute homestay with a beautiful view over the roofs of the quarter. It's walking distance to everything you may need but tucked away in a quiet side street so you get the best of both worlds. The family that runs the place is extremely friendly and welcoming. I did some remote work and the internet was fast even for video calls.

One of my favorite places to stay in Asia
Pros:

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Asia. I spent a month here in 2024, and came back for another month in 2026. (Someone else beat me to it in 2025!). The room has a beautiful view from the window and the balcony outside, a comfy bed, good wifi, and a shower with good water pressure and temperature. The couple running the homestay are lovely and kind, and their children are adorable. The property is just around the corner from good coffee (Seniman), and an easy walk to the rice fields in the morning, and at night you can hear the kecak dances from a nearby temple (or go to watch!). Basically, if this room is available, pounce!

Incredible Value for Money Homestay
Pros:

Fantastic location near Ubud market. Great wifi and aircon. Incredible value for money. Nice view over the buildings. Room and bedding were clean. Good hot water shower in the open air bathroom. Guesthouse is only 2 rooms - you have to walk through the family compound to get up to the room. Family was lovely, very helpful, always available and immediately responsive to any requests.

Cons:

The street below was a bit noisy as motorbikes were using the road to avoid the Main Street. No fridge or fan (only air con). The steps are steep and hard with a backpack. Bathroom needed a good scrub. Balcony was not private and was shared with the other room.

The bathroom was the worst. It was not clean at all. There was mould everywhere, including in the soap dish, sink, walls, and floor. Dirty towels. It was uncomfortabin.
