Beautiful Rooms at playa Blanca

In una Cancun molto caotico la zona dell'appartamento è ancora un luogo autentico vicino alla spiaggia con le barche dei pescatori.
Il patio davanti alla casa è un angolo di tranquillità.
Ma il punto di forza della struttura è senza dubbio la titolare Signora Africa con la sua disponibilità e simpatia.

Africa was soo helpful and kind! She was like a Mama for me, took care of me and helped with any questions. I will definitely come back to her place! The beach is also great and in fromt of the door basically. Close to the ferry too.

I liked staying with Afrika in her house. She was really nice and welcoming even before I arrived at her property. She helped me get a transfer from the airport and get information about tours and things to do in Cancun and its surroundings. The house was nice and well-kept and the room was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend it.

Convenient to an unimpressive beach. Access to a nice kitchen.

Safe to walk to restaurants and in the area. There's the usual police patrol all day long. The beach is clean & well kept

I would stay there again

Africa was a very helpful host, easy to communicate with, and helped us get the taxi driver to the property. Apartment located in a less busy area than Cancun, still very enjoyable, with a small beach in front of the apartment and a few nice restaurant options within a 10 min walking distance.

Room and dedicated bathroom were clean and working well.

A very good option for a couple of nights away from the downtown/hotel zone crowd of Cancun, at a decent price. Also pretty close to the Porto Juares ferry to Isla Mujeres.

África's home is clean and lovely inside and out. She's an excellent host, providing helpful recommendations whenever needed and goes out of her way to be kind. When we asked about massages she set up an in-house appointment with a fantastic, affordable massage therapist. 


The beach across the street is nice and super convenient. It does get pretty crowded and loud, with people pulling up and blasting music from their cars and sometimes multiple at once. There are also many vendors who go back and forth, stopping by you each time they pass which becomes irritating. The strip along the beach has 5 or 6 spots with similar offerings, mostly seafood as well as some pizza/pasta. Plenty of drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snack options. Try the marquesitas they're delicious! 


When you want to go into the main areas of town you'll have to walk a ways or take a taxi or combi (cheap transport but packed to the brim). The Isla Mujeres ferry terminal is a 12 or so minute long walk straight down the street. 

We stayed in a large, quiet room that was very close to the beach. The entire house was spotless clean.

Host was super friendly and helpful

The location is close to the public beach and not so far from the main traffic routes. Public transport is available. Africa , she is a great host.

I had an incredible stay with Africa. She provided me with numerous helpful tips on how to navigate local stores. I was able to purchase a SIM card for my phone at an Oxxo store thanks to her guidance. She also directed me to a fruit shop and recommended some restaurants, along with the necessary bus routes to get there. Engaging in many conversations in Spanish with her greatly enhanced my language skills. The beach was conveniently close, just 50 meters away, offering various dining options right by the sea.

Location is great, small free beach close by. Parking quite safe behind fence on the street. Wifi works fine.

Africa is a great host! She gave us a breakfast, and we could do a later checkout. Also she speaks English well. I really appreciate it.
