Pros:

Le coin est un peu perdu mais ce n’est pas dérangeant lorsque l’on recherche des petits villages plus calmes et authentique. Le personnel est vraiment très sympa, avec une super ambiance familiale!

Cons:

Les chambres restent humides, peut être à cause de la météo car il pleuvait lors de notre séjour…

Pros:

Unique bamboo property. Set up behind the owners home form a truly local homestay, giving an authentic look into daily life in a Bali village. Best banana pancakes and tasty meals cooked fresh, on site. Local family are delightful and helpful. On local advice, we took an enjoyable long walk to the little museum and beautiful rice terraces. Just had to be wary and on the lookout for enthusiastic dogs .

Cons:

Be aware that the toilet is down a bamboo staircase from the bedroom!
Being in a bamboo forest and in the hills, it was atmospheric and attractive but always felt damp. Would have liked cotton sheets to fit over the mattress for a cosier sleep.

Le séjour fut très agréable, merci aux propriétaires.
Pros:

L’accueil, les propriétaires étaient adorables, la cuisine délicieuse.

Cons:

Une des chambres n’avait pas d’eau chaude, et l’autre sentait fort l’humidité.
Les animaux sont assez bruyants la nuit peut-être fournir des boules-quies pour les personnes au sommeil sensible. Préciser que la laverie est un extra.

Vaut le détour
Pros:

La maison en bambou (construite par le propriétaire Putu avec l’aide de sa famille) est simple mais très beau et propre. Il y a une proximité avec les autres hébergements certes mais ce lieu appelle le calme et la sérénité donc aucun problème de voisinage. L’hébergement est spartiate mais très agréable et le nécessaire est présent, on est au milieu de la nature. Il est un peu loin de tout mais si vous aimez voyager ainsi vous serez ravis!
Un mot très important sur le propriétaire, Putu et sa famille, ce sont des personnes très accueillantes, douces et bienveillantes. Ils ont à cœur de partager leur vie, leur culture et leurs traditions. On a la sensation d’être comme des invités de marque dans leur lieu de vie. Je vous conseille vivement de partager les délicieux repas confectionnés avec soins pas sa femme et lui même. Au delà de la qualité de l’hébergement, il s’agit d’une belle rencontre. Il est de bons conseils pour des activités et visites et vous aide pour trouver un chauffeur pour vous déplacer. Bref, allez y les yeux fermés.

Preciosa casa de bambú en entorno familiar
Pros:

La familia que lleva el alojamiento es maravillosa. Me ha encantado vivir la experiencia de estar en una de sus preciosas casas de bambú pero dentro de lo que es su terreno familiar. La cena estaba buenísima, ofrecían el alquiler de la moto, el Transfer... Todo fácil y perfecto. Volvería a ir sin dudarlo y lo recomendaría.

Geweldig verblijf, perfect om tot rust te komen, maar ook met de scooter in de buurt van het centrum.
Pros:

Wat een PRACHTIG verblijf! Met een heerlijke hottub en warme douche. Ontbijt was inbegrepen en erg lekker. Het huisje is helemaal van bamboe en het voelt heel chique aan. De hosts zijn extreem aardige mensen die helemaal met je meedenken.

Splendida natura
Pros:

Struttura immersa nel verde, splendida vista. Proprietari gentili, ci hanno aiutato al rientro da un' escursione in cui non riuscivamo a trovare un passaggio con Grab ( piccola nota meno positiva). Splendide e autentiche le risaie vicine raggiungibili con un' escursione per i più avventurosi ( fatta con bimbi); immancabile la fermata al Cafè in situ. Una delle zone più incontaminate viste a Bali.

Authentic Bali experience
Pros:

We had a lovely stay here. Putu and his wife were incredibly welcoming, and the whole family made us feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality and friendliness was just lovely.

Breakfast was simple but tasty every morning. The homestay is tucked away in a little mountain village, away from the busy tourist areas. Putu can also help organise local transport if needed. (Gde was a great driver and a great guy.)

The bamboo house was a really special place to stay, with a cosy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a more authentic Bali experience, this is your spot!

Cons:

The only minor downside for us was that the mattress was on the softer side and the humid mountain climate can also make things feel slightly damp. As with many village stays in Bali, roosters and the early morning prayer are part of the soundtrack, so earplugs are worth bringing if you’re a light sleeper.
