Royal Woods: a great homestay!
Pros:

Amazing homestay located in a very beautiful place. The host is a very good person, he had made the arrangements as requested (whether it was room or food) and also guided us the route very well over the phone.
The people who manage the homestay were super kind and made us feel at home, they cooked amazing food and took us on a nice coffee tour. Also, their coffee is too good that I bought a couple of kilos from them.
Overall the stay was amazing, would visit this place again!

There's nothing to not like about this place.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and were extremely friendly and accommodating.
A special mention to Anthony for the delicious food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Both the accommodation and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations.
The atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing, surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a perfect place for nature lovers and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Waking up surrounded by those endless green coffee plantations was pure bliss. The whole place has this wonderfully quiet, peaceful energy that lets you completely unwind, yet it’s still just a short drive from Madikeri.

What really made the trip special for us was the team—the staff treated us with so much genuine warmth and kindness from the moment we arrived. And the food? Absolutely incredible. It tasted just like a comforting, delicious home-cooked meal, making every single rupee feel well spent. We truly loved our time here and left feeling so refreshed.

Overall good experience
Cons:

The property was good overall, except for the water supply issue in the mornings. We had to contact the person in charge several times to get water in the toilets, which was quite inconvenient. Apart from this issue, the stay was comfortable.

Fantastic stay. Would love to visit again.
Pros:

The stay was absolutely wonderful and enjoyable. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We really relished the fresh and home cooked meals that were served as breakfast and dinner. The variety and the taste was awesome.

Cons:

There were lot of insects in the bathroom. It could be due to the weather or the surrounding greenery. If possible, something should be done about it
