Pros:

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend direkt nach der Buchung hat er mich kontaktiert und mir bei der Anreise sowie Abreise geholfen. Des weiteren war er immer sehr gut erreichbar und hat uns vor Ort zahlreiche Tips gegeben für Restaurants und Cafes sowie uns über lokale Ereignisse in Kenntnis gesetzt ( für den Nationalfeiertag gabs ein Feuerwerk am Strand). Die Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattet hier muss man echt keine Angst haben abgezogen zu werden oder zu wenig für sein Geld zu kriegen :)

Cons:

Einzig kleiner Kritikpunkt was aber üblich ist in Vietnam, die Duschen sind häufig nicht durch eine Glaswand getrennt. Bei uns im Zimmer war eine Glaswand bei meinen Freunden jedoch nicht, aber das ist wirklich der Standard hier und nicht wirklich störend

Excellent Cat Ba Homestay
Pros:

Tien and his wife were welcoming hosts. They organised a pick up for us when we arrived on the island which was so helpful. They have a lovely quiet Homestay away from noise and very close to Cat Ba town and walking distance to Cat Co 1 and Cat Co 3 beaches. Tien is very helpful with information and easy to communicate with. The room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony. Breakfast on their patio was very good. Photos on line are a true representation. We appreciated Tien’s help to organise our transport to the Cat Ba National Park, as well as to our next destination

Tien was a brilliant and kind host who organised and then subsequently cancelled a tour when I got sick. He offered to help me with medicines and the doctor if I needed it. Was a comfortable place in a good location.

Cons:

A few ants in the bathroom. Only one bin which was located in the bathroom, would have been good to have one in the bedroom too.
