Clean, room was sunny, pillows were fluffy and the bed was comfortable. Location was great.

Cons:

Lack of customer service. The locks on the room door, one didn’t work at all and one didn’t work properly. I called the number left at the desk and no one ever got back to me which wasn’t the safest. So I was in a room that had no working locks. I asked for an extra set of towels using the same number and never got the towels. I stayed 3 nights and 4 days. I saw someone at the desk the day I arrived and the day I left.

I love visiting Martha’s Vineyard, and I would definitely stay at the Capricorn House again.
Pros:

Capricorn House is in a perfect location, with plenty to do in Oak Bluffs and the surrounding towns of Martha’s Vineyard. I found myself sitting on the front porch, relaxing and taking in the amazing views. It’s such a peaceful setting, and the location really makes the place special. You can sit outside, enjoy the scenery, and forget about everything for a while. I can definitely see why you love it there—it’s a beautiful place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.

Cons:

Everything about the property was perfect.

Great beachfront stay
Pros:

Great sea view from the porch. Room was clean and cosy. Great location - on the seafront and can walk to town through the gingerbread cottages. Appreciated the additional amenities eg tea and coffee station, beach towels and deck chairs to enjoy the beach. Henry was extremely friendly and helpful, runs a great place.

The location and common areas are desirable. Beds are comfortable.
Pros:

The location is great! Since the property is similar to a bed and breakfast setup, it offers an easy opportunity to socialize with others staying on the property. Coffee and tea is provided.

Cons:

Overall my stay was memorable. An enhancement suggestion would be to increase sweetener offerings plus include morning and evening snacks ( i.e. pastries, fruit, yogurt, popcorn, etc.). Another would be to add additional hooks and/or shelves to the bathroom.

Capricorn House is situated close to everything, especially The Inkwell!
