Ich benötigte eine einfache und kostengünstige Unterkunft für meine Ausbildung in Rapperswil.
Pros:

Es war sehr sauber. Kaffeemaschine und Tee vorhanden und jeden Tag frisches Wasser als Nachschub. Wlan verfügbar. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Cons:

Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln.

Praktisch für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Lage ideal – Bahnhof Jona und das Zentrum waren gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Kaffee, Tee und Wasser im Zimmer waren ein schönes Extra. Die Zimmergrösse war für zwei Personen und eine Übernachtung ausreichend.

Cons:

Weniger praktisch waren die Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten (Check-in ab 17:00 Uhr, Check-out bis 10:00 Uhr). Eine spätere Abreise um 11:00 Uhr war auf Anfrage nicht möglich, und auch eine Gepäckaufbewahrung vor dem Check-in wurde nicht angeboten. Da die Schlüsselübergabe nur persönlich durch den Gastgeber erfolgen konnte, war die Flexibilität insgesamt etwas eingeschränkt. Überraschend war zudem, dass das Zimmer Teil einer Wohnung ist, in der der Besitzer offenbar ebenfalls wohnt.

Privatzimmer in einer bewohnten Wohnung des Vermieters - sauber und gepflegt.

Alles war sauber und es war im Zimmer ruhig.

Cons:

Ich habe übersehen, dass es sich um ein B&B handelt. Ich rechnete mit etwas anderem. Aber dies war mein Fehler, da ich das Inserat nicht genau genug gelesen hatte.

Ich durfte eine halbe Stunde früher einchecken.
Das Zimmer ist super schön und sehr komfortabel.

Cons:

Ich habe aufgrund des Regens spontan eine Person nur zum Besuch mitgebracht. Mir wurde beim betreten der Wohnung gleich mitgeteilt, dass das nicht erlaubt ist. Da ich es nirgendwo gegenteilig erwähnt wird, und es gesetzlich erlaubt ist (im Hotel Bereich), dachte ich nicht, dass es ein Problem ware. Wir sind beide sehr ruhige Personen. Ich hätte aber vorab fragen sollen, das war mein Fehler. So spontan war es mir nicht möglich, da ich nur WLAN zu Verfügung hatte. Es wurde mir dann aber 1h gewährt. Willkommen habe ich mich dann aber leider nicht mehr gefühlt.

adequate and friendly but definitely a stay very much inside a private home

gracious host, big windows, comfy beds

Cons:

it was in a private home and the bathroom was shared by all guest rooms and i think the host as well ? living room views were sort of obscured by white half-curtains, but it really felt like tiptoeing through a strangers home at night to the loo.
