I had an amazing time at Surf Camp 79 in Lombok!
As a complete beginner, I felt comfortable from the very first lesson. The instructors were patient, supportive, and made learning to surf a lot of fun. I learned so much over the six days and gained much more confidence in the water.
The camp offered much more than just surfing. We also had yoga, recovery sessions, ice baths, sauna, surf skating, a family dinner, and karaoke, which created a great atmosphere and made it easy to meet new people.
The staff was incredibly friendly, the accommodation was nice, and the whole experience was well organized.
I highly recommend Surf Camp 79 to anyone who wants to learn surfing while having a great time and meeting wonderful people. Thank you for an unforgettable week! 🌊🏄

STAY HERE!!! Nice peaceful stay just a short walk to the beach. AC is new and rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is available, there is a kitchen and plenty of restaurants nearby. Grab will also deliver. Ryan is the most helpful for planning any trips and has booked my some great trips. His English is very good! I rented a new bike from them and did a beautiful 2 hr coastal trip that has amazing beaches and snorkeling. You can also visit lakes in the cool mountains in just 1.5 scenic hours up the mountain. Visa was easy to do here, not busy, but takes a bit of time. Also visited Mentawai islands which is beautiful and not touristy.

Boek niet met ontbijt erbij. De keuken kan een opfris beurt krijgen. Hoewel ik veel goede recensies las, ben ik eerder weg gegaan en raad ik de accommodatie niet perse aan.

A very peaceful spot, with pleasant rooms featuring brand-new air conditioning. Excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and will help you with any queries or issues you may have.
The beach is very close by; it’s an ideal place to learn to surf, as the waves are very gentle.
The common kitchen area could be a little better maintained (cleanliness and order); this way more guests would surely be encouraged to cook there.
Ryan on the staff helped me a lot with stuff i needed to do before going to the ments. Really great dude.
Beach is very close. Waves were just about perfect for beginners. Very clean. Sometimes it gets bigger as well.
De gastvrijheid van Ryan en Benny is fantastisch. Ze doen hun best om je thuis te laten voelen in de homestay. Het ligt pal aan het strand en als je wilt leren surfen of al kunt surfen is dit strand perfect. Ryan is een goede leraar en kan je helpen om de puntjes op de i te zetten!

I originally planned to stay at Secret Surf Camp for just two days but ended up extending to a whole week. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm, cozy environment that makes you feel like at home. The owners and the team working there are so kind and welcoming, adding extra bonus to the place. If you are looking for a relaxing escape with great vibes this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!🏄♀️

The place was cool, a calm place out of the city but still close enough to go to cafes and restaurants easy enough. The crew went beyond to help us out, cooking, organising, thank you to Ryan!
Not something I didn't like, but just an advice for travellers to book a scooter (available at the camp) or ask the crew to book your taxis - it is much more effective.
