Will stay again when I fly out of SJO early morning.
Pros:

I I live in Costa Rica and just needed a peaceful, comfortable place to sleep for one night before catching an early flight out of SJO. This place was perfect for exactly that. The bed was really comfortable, I had my own private bathroom and a little kitchenette, and there was a TV where I could watch YouTube, relax and fall asleep. They had a hot water kettle and tea bags in the room, but the coffee was brewed for me in the morning out in the main kitchen.

The owner drove me to the airport early in the morning and charged me less than what Uber was quoting, so I definitely recommend asking him about airport transportation instead of automatically booking a taxi or Uber.

I will stay here again!

Just great.
The room is lovely, comfy bed, sparkling clean, nice atmosphere and decoration. Feels like a home rather than a standard blend room.
Bonus: the owner has a cute little dog.
It was also surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the airport, yet had a few restaurants open till late (~10pm) within a walking distance.
It's less than 10 minutes ride to the airport, the owner can give you a ride for a small additional cost.

Wärmstens zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Eine super nette gastfreundliche Familie.
Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer ruhigen Wohngegend unmittelbar in der Nähe des Flughafens.Waw jedoch gar nicht stört,da man von den Flugzeugen gar nichts mitbekommt.Die Unterkunft ist wärmstens zu empfehlen.
Ich würde Sie immer wieder buchen.

Very convenient and would stay there again.
Pros:

Very close to the airport. Edgar picked me up and took me back to the airport. Room was clean.

La estadía en casa de Edgar y su mamá fue muy satisfactoria. Gente amable y cordial, el cuarto y el baño muy limpios... Si tuviera que volver a hospedarme con ellos en San José no lo dudaría ni un segundo. Gracias por todo : )
