Good spot, lovely rooms, but not quite a 10 out of 10
Pros:

Beautiful spot. Friendly and helpful staff. Very easy to hire a scooter. Good location if you hire bikes or scooters. Walking distance to some nice food spots.

Cons:

Unfortunately the beds were very hard and the bed spread was a bit small to make sharing comfortable. The pool was not very clean, which was a pity.

Pros:

The location is lovely.

Cons:

We arrived earlier and asked if we could check in. The owner said the rooms were ready but we would have to pay extra. It felt very money grabbing.

Breakfast was very basic.

We found a centipede in bed. Even though we understand that insects are unavoidable in a natural environment, the owner’s attitude was quite dismissive.

Overall, it felt like the owner didn’t care about offering a nice experience to guests and the high rating didn’t align with our experience.

Pros:

Clean bungalow, comfy bed, calm atmosphere, and the mountain scenery around the hotel looked unreal. Loved riding bicycles around the countryside in the morning. Much quieter than busy tourist areas but still close to Trang An and Hang Mua.

One of the most peaceful places I stayed in Vietnam 🌿
Pros:

Waking up with the limestone mountain view and quiet nature around was honestly amazing. The pool area was beautiful, especially in the late afternoon when the sunlight hit the mountains. Staff were super kind and helped us arrange transport and boat tours around Trang An.

Perfect place if you want to relax and slow down for a few days.

Fantastic stay in Trang An
Pros:

The staff here are absolutely amazing - incredibly friendly and always making sure you are looked after. The rooms are comfortable and clean with good breakfast options. It was a great base for cycling and Trang A boat tours, overall the stay was a great way to slow down and enjoy beautiful Ninh Binh.

Cons:

There were power cuts (10 -20 mins) during both days when we stayed, not the fault of the team though but may be a factor if depending on power.

Nice location but dark rooms
Pros:

The staff is friendly.

Cons:

The pictures are a lot nicer than what it actually looks like. I left to another hotel after checking in. The room I had was really dark and very basic. Not what I was ecpecting based off the pictures.
