Beautiful room and balcony and great value!
Pros:

Very kind host, beautiful architecture and room decor, amazing balcony space, prime location. Overall great value!

Cons:

The only issue I had was the water was only hot for the first 2-3 days of my stay. The rest of the week, it was cold showers.

Hermoso homestay
Pros:

Me gustó mucho el alojamiento. Putu me recibió con los brazos abiertos, el dormitorio muy limpio, ordenado, yo me levantaba todos los días muy temprano para trabajar y ella me tenía un termo con agua para el cafe. Además, el desayuno muy rico!!
Recomiendo totalmente este homestay, me volvería a quedar mil veces! E incluso volveré en agosto!
Otro punto importante es que queda muy cerca de todo, a 5-10 min caminando de tiendas y cafés

Beautiful Balinese house
Pros:

Beautiful courtyard. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable big bed. Tasty breakfast. Kind and friendly staff.

The towel arrangements when you first arrive are a work of art too.

Cons:

You might need to ask for things more than once.They forgot to refill my toilet paper after I asked.

Pros:

I stayed at Angga Homestay for 5 nights, and I genuinely think it’s an ideal place for solo female travelers, especially if safety is one of your biggest concerns.

The homestay is family-run, and the family lives on the property. Throughout my stay, I could see the owners and their children going about their daily lives, which made the place feel warm, welcoming, and very safe. Right next to the homestay, there’s a family temple where you can see the local women carrying out their traditional Balinese prayers each day. It was a beautiful cultural experience and created such a peaceful atmosphere.

The location is another huge advantage. It’s right in the heart of central Ubud, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area’s attractions. Convenience stores, cafés, restaurants, spas, and shops are all within walking distance.

I really loved the overall vibe of this place. It was quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by authentic Balinese culture, making it a relaxing place to return to after a busy day of sightseeing.

As for the room, I paid around $15 per night for two people, so I think it offered excellent value for money. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything we needed. The bathroom is a little old and could use some updating, but it was clean and functional. For the price, I really can’t complain.

Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, safe, peaceful, and centrally located place to stay in Ubud, I’d definitely recommend Angga Homestay, especially if you’re a solo female traveler.

Comfortable gor a couple of nights
Pros:

The location is excellent, the view is nice from the third floor.

Cons:

The toilet was not very clean, with mold on the walls and smells funny, also the towels and bedsheets didn’t seem to be clean, they smelled like someone used them and no one washed them. everything else was ok

Pros:

lovely family, comfy bed, theres AC that works perfectly, beautiful outside and inside and super close to everything. Would definitely come back. They even organize tours at a reasonable price and the breakfast was so good
