Pros:

Il proprietario e' gentilissimo, la casa molto ampia si trova nella prima collina, in una zona molto tranquilla e il centro di Kandy si raggiunge in pochi minuti di tuk tuk o a piedi. Stanze semplici, pulite, e ottima colazione sulla terrazza. Consigliato!

Pros:

Das große Familienzimmer ganz oben hat eine tolle Aussicht und Größe. Sarath der Besitzer kann gut Englisch und hilft mit Rat und Tat. Vertrauenswürdig und freundlich. Er ist ein ruhiger Mensch, mit dem man auch gut über Land und Leute sprechen kann.
Frühstück ist gut, aber immer gleich, man kann nach anderen Sachen fragen.

Heel vriendelijk echtpaar. Gastheer denkt mee, brengt je naar gewenste locatie, regelt kaartjes, etc.

Sarath and Nalini made our stay unique in Sri Lanka. We really felt at home.
Pros:

Great location, delicious home cooked food, spacious room overlooking the garden. They were always ready to answer our questions. Staying with Sarath and Nalini is like staying with friends in an old family home.

Great 2 night stay in Kandy (woman travelling alone)
Pros:

Freedom Lodge is very well situated in Kandy, a 3mn walk from the lake so all can be done by walk. But above all Sarath is very friendly and a great host. He has arranged a full day for me with great ayurvedic massage and cultural show later in the day, and his wife has also cooked for me à very very good dinner. This will remain one of my favorite places in Sri Lanka.

Pros:

Logement très bien placé proche du centre mais en étant au calme
Le propriétaire et sa famille sont très accueillants
Très bon petit déj
Chambre très grande et confortable

Cons:

La wifi est aléatoire
Certains éléments de la chambre mériterait un petit coup de neuf mais rien d'alarmant

A special place to stay - highly recommend
Pros:

A fabulous place to stay, with a wise and gentle host. Great location overlooking the lake, in walking distance to centre. The best brekkie we had in SL and definitely the friendliest host. We were sad to leave.

Kandy’s most ideal setting
Pros:

Perfect location in the hills close to the lake. The host is extremely kind and welcoming and cannot do. enough for his guests. The house is a traditional Kandyan style and tastefully furnished with a well maintained attractive garden. Very generous breakfasts are served on a terrace with fabulous views across the hills.

Pros:

Hotel très bien situé pour visiter Kandy. On peut aller en ville à pied, faire le tour du lac, visiter le temple sans requérir aux services des tuk-tuks.
Hote très agréable.
Excellent petit déjeuners. Le café est très bon.
