Pros:

It was close to the airport for our early flight next day, but we mistakenly took the property to be a motel & it was a private home, so bit disappointed not to have a restaurant close by or in house for a meal .

Comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

The owner was welcoming and offered a lift to the airport in the morning.
It was conveniently close to the airport, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

There weren’t any great restaurants within walking distance (however I was able to buy food nearby).

Very pleasant and convient for early flight. Thank you John for your understanding and not cancelling on us.
Pros:

We had our flight cancelled twice coming from Europe. John kindly kept the booking although short notice and could have cancelled. Very helpful. Room clean. Private. Seating area outside. Good position to airport and river.

Pros:

John was an attentive host and kindly waited for our arrival (late flight) at 11pm.
A cosy and comfortable room was provided.

Cons:

We incorrectly assumed it was a motel room due to the name (Ascot Comfort) as in the Comfort Chain of motels. Not a room in a residential house in a quiet street.
There was no bathroom light or exhaust fan.
$192 was excessive.

Excellent choice near airport
Pros:

John was very welcoming and friendly, staying up to welcome us from a late flight. The room was comfortable and clean with tea, coffee, muesli provided. Beautiful garden out the back. Very quiet and peaceful. Thanks John!

Extraordinary
Pros:

The accomodation is less than one kilometer from the Camper Rental stations.
The accomodation is very clean. The host John is was very helpful. We arrived in the late evening - and all restaurants in the surroundings had already closed. So he gave us some food for a late evening snack. The next morning he drove us the Camper Rental Station and showed us a bit later the nearest supermarket. There is a little garden where we had breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the place.
