Managed by a private host
A deposit may be required at the property.
Excellent location and relation quality price. The host couldn't be better.
I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Read both the good and bad reviews to be aware of what to expect during your stay.
The property matched the photos and description.
If you read and follow the house rules, you should not encounter any problems.
The host’s pets are not allowed in the room, so it was clean and free from animal hair.
There were places to hang clothes, including hooks on the door and supports on the radiators.
The host provides a simple complimentary breakfast with cereals, porridge, fruit and biscuits.
Although the host smokes, there was no smell of smoke in the room.
The shower was excellent, with very good water pressure and consistently hot water.
The turtle makes some noise during the night.
There was limited space to store personal belongings, apart from the bedside table and a chair.
The room could not be locked, but no issues.
There is a small fridge, with no dedicated space for guests to store their own food/snacks.
Anastasia is lovely and that was even before meeting her little troupe of pets. We had a lovely chat with a nice cup of tea and I got to meet her cat, two huge but friendly dogs and of course, pistachio, who's really just so cool.
Anastasia also had some awesome recommendations and was obviously local and very knowledgeable about her city. I was quite sad I didn't have more time to spend in Glasgow!
The amenities were great, the bed super comfy and I slept really well. The bathroom and kitchen are also great and everything is clean and carefully looked after. It's still a space that is obviously lived in and I think that's part of what made it so comfortable.
The location is also great! I think if you really read up about this stay before you get there, you'll end up more than happy about staying there!
Very comfy bed, lovely host, very cute dogs, offered drink / food, cozy and safe property.
I don’t think the owner would describe herself as transphobic as she is very welcoming of all, just her views on trans people who are ‘obviously trans’ are different to those of Gen Z - so just be mindful.
Friendliness of host ... sharing of meals, not expected!
Een heerlijke bohemienervaring in een omgeving die perfect bij de sfeer past."
Everything! If you want something a little bit different then this is the place to stay. Anastasia was the best host, had lots of laughs. Suggested lots of places to visit and an awesome vegan restaurant. The resident animals were a bonus. The bus was only a short walk away. The bed was the best sleep I ever had.
I should have stayed longer.
Very comfortable; very generous hostess (including making me a loaf of banana bread to take on my travels!); a great opportunity to learn about life in Glasgow. The dogs sound loud when you arrive, but are very friendly.
Excellent location and easy to walk to the City Centre.
None!
Everything was great.

The ambience and the opportunity to talk about common interests.
The facilities are excellent and location ideal.
Nothing
Solo la posizione dell' alloggio.
All' interno dappertutto una confusione pazzesca.
Bushalte vlakbij, Kelvingrove Museum vlakbij. Naar centrum lopen kost ongeveer halfuurtje.
The property in itself was okay. The location was relatively decent. City center was within about 30 minutes of walking. The room was okay sized and the bed comfortable
Everything was going great up until the evening before my last night—the place was nice, and the owner seemed chill and easygoing. Before checking in, I was asked to review the house rules and confirm I would comply. I carefully read everything available on Booking.com, including property policies and descriptions, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, so I confirmed with the owner.
However, once I arrived, I noticed several rules that weren’t mentioned anywhere online. Still, I didn’t make a fuss and went along with it, thinking it wasn’t a big deal. Then, on the evening of the second day, I was suddenly told I had violated three rules. The owner was furious, though we didn’t speak in person—just an email saying she would report me for misconduct.
The next morning, after double-checking Booking.com to ensure I hadn’t overlooked any rules, I approached the owner to explain that the real issue seemed to be a lack of clarity on Booking.com’s listing, not intentional wrongdoing on my part. Despite me being calm and respectful, the owner completely lost their temper—shouting and demanding I leave immediately. I said what I needed to say to her and even offered to go through my booking.com reservation through my phone to have her check for the rules by herself in order to convince her. Since she chose to ignore me I simply left as I was asked.
