Shan Mango Homestay

Dejligt lille sted med de sødeste værtspar. Vi have værelset med egen pool, som vi lød. Skønt ophold til et par dage, ligger kun ca 20 min fra løveklippen. Fine store værelse meget køleskab.

L’accueil exceptionnel, la gentillesse des hôtes, le service, la délicieuse cuisine maison et le calme du magnifique jardin. Les contacts qu’ils nous ont recommandés (chauffeur, guide et activités) étaient également excellents et ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Si nous avions pu mettre 15/10, nous l’aurions fait sans hésiter !

Prachtig, kleinschalig resort. Fijn om af te koelen in het zwembad. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt. Super vriendelijke eigenaar.

Alles! Bed, douche, locatie, vriendelijke eigenaren, ontbijt. Ik zou dit iedereen aanraden.

Alles klopte bij deze accommodatie. De plek is een oase van rust. In de tuin groeien veel vruchten. Alles functioneert. De bedden liggen heerlijk, de douche is fijn. Er is een fijn zwembad met ligbedden. De eigenaren zijn super aardig en behulpzaam en het ontbijt is heerlijk!

Alles, rustig, sereen, prachtig privé zwembad, heerlijk ontbijt, lieve eigenaren.

Just like the photos, clean and comfortable with kind staff and the best shower in Sri Lanka, the breakfast was delicious and the pool awesome.

Fantastische plek met heerlijk zwembad waar je midden in de natuur tot rust kan komen. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die een zeer goed ontbijt en diner verzorgen.

Deze accomodatie overtrof alle verwachtingen. Alles werd geregeld, het vervoer met de tuk tuk naar excursies werd verzorgd door de broer van de eigenaar, allemaal hele lieve mensen. Her eten was fantastisch, gevarieerd en traditioneel Sri lankaans. Bedden lagen heerlijk en we hebben genoten van het zwembad dat een unieke ligging heeft temidden van het groen aan planten en bomen.

All was very good, the place is clean, quiet, very well maintained, there was good water pressure and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good as well, friendly family and very helpful.

The property is even better than it looks in the photos. It is beautifully surrounded by nature, set in a lush orchard filled with mango, passion fruit, and banana trees. We loved seeing peacocks and squirrels roaming around. The pool was clean and well maintained, with plenty of natural shade from the fruit trees, making it a lovely place to relax.

The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, and even the towels smelled fresh and pleasant.

The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. It offered a wonderful mix of local sweet and savory specialties, including fresh fruit, homemade jam and butter with several types of bread, delicious egg hoppers, and excellent coffee and tea.

The only thing that caught us by surprise was how wild the surrounding area is. We saw snakes, and there are electric fences designed to keep wild elephants away, as they frequently visit the area. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something future guests should be aware of if they’re not used to staying so close to nature.

Super nettes Personal. Sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Man hat sich sehr willkommen gefühlt und es wurde alles organisiert (Trips, Tuktuk, Fahrer…). Wunderschöner Garten mit Pfauen, Hörnchen und Vögel. Toller Pool.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per due notti con la nostra famiglia di quattro persone, insieme ai nostri due bambini di 8 anni, e ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene.

La struttura è completamente immersa nella natura: poche unità abitative, distribuite all'interno di un rigoglioso giardino tra banani, palme e una vegetazione tropicale lussureggiante, che regalano una piacevole sensazione di pace e tranquillità.

Uno dei punti di forza è sicuramente la zona piscina. La nostra unità disponeva di un'ampia piscina ad uso esclusivo, situata proprio di fronte al patio privato: un vero valore aggiunto che ci ha permesso di rilassarci in totale privacy dopo le escursioni della giornata.

La colazione era abbondante e preparata con grande cura dai proprietari di casa, sempre sorridenti e molto accoglienti. Ogni mattina abbiamo gustato ottima frutta fresca, i tradizionali dolci dello Sri Lanka, il tutto servito con grande attenzione e cordialità.

Questa struttura è una vera oasi di pace immersa nel verde, ideale per chi desidera rilassarsi e rigenerarsi tra un'escursione e l'altra. Un luogo che consigliamo senza esitazione a chi cerca tranquillità, natura e un'accoglienza autentica.
