Pros:

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum direkt am Wasser.
Und der Host war uns mit allem behilflich und super freundlich.
Die Lage ist super schön in der Natur aber auch weg von der Zivilisation. Das heißt man sollte genügend Geld für Mahlzeiten und Bootsfahrt mitbringen. Frühstück gibt’s in der Unterkunft und im benachbarten Hotel kann man mitten und oder Abendbrot essen.
Für eine ruhige Erkundung der Backwaters ein absolutes Highlight und würde ich jedem empfehlen.

I will always hold this place and its people in my heart
Pros:

Location was fantastic, peaceful, felt immersed in the are, which was so friendly - but we wanted to say that in a way the biggest draw is Ajish and his utterly delightful family. They were so kind, fun and helpful and lovely to chat to. We felt so well looked after - breakfasts were fantastic and Jaya kept cups of chai coming too, which was lovely. There’s a nice restaurant right next to it, serving wholesome food with delightful staff. Try the prawn curry! Dinner can be served on your balcony. Everything is readily organised for you. Tuktuks into town, an Ayurveda treatment booked, boat rides, onward transport. It was a bit of a wrench to leave really.

Cons:

We liked everything. I also think that if there had been something we didn’t like, Ajish would have sorted it out in about two minutes.

Host was extremely hospitable..anytime at service
Pros:

The highlight is the view , it is unbeatable.It perfectly faces the backwaters and you can enjoy the view of the passing house boats . Spacious rooms and very hospitable staff .The host even helped to arrange cycles for kids .Delicious breakfast & provides sufficient quantity .

Very relaxing and enjoyable

The host and the staff there were the highlight of our time. They were so helpful and cooperative.

Cons:

The only things that I could suggest to make things a bit better would be if
1) There was an electric kettle in the room to heat up water. That way I would not feel bad about disturbing the host
2) If there was a geyser for hot water showers, it would be nice. Considering the Kerala climate and temperature, many (including my son) would say that hot water showers are not needed, so its just a suggestion.
