Awesome homestay with a beautiful family and super convenient to ferry’s.
Pros:

This is a wonderful tradition homestay run by a beautiful local family. They cook you a delicious breakfast you can eat on the verandah overlooking the village.
This is perfect to access the ferry’s and is a short easy walk. Plenty of Warung’s around.
I was on my own and felt perfectly safe.

Cons:

The stairs do look intimidating but the family carry your bags and they’re just the typical steep Bali stairs. Don’t let the stairs put you off.

Great overnight stay with a local family.
Pros:

My hosts were amazing, nothing too much. Helped with the bags to the ferry. Great sea vews from the room. Breakfast very good. Recommended Salty Mama for fresh fish dinner.

Cons:

Nothing really, just for the less mobile beaware a steep set of steps to the room. But the view is great .

La moyenne pas plus..
Pros:

L'emplacement est bien puisque très proche du port et Des compagnies de bateaux. La plage blue lagoon est à 15 min à pied et 20 min pour la seconde plage. La dame qui s'occupe de la maison est vraiment très gentille et fait tout pour que le séjour se passe bien. Mais le problème c'est la chambre qui ne correspond pas au photos, et il y a un réel problème de propreté..

Cons:

Alors déjà les marches qui mène à la chambre au 1er étage sont immense et très étroites. Les murs sont vétustes, prise très ancienne, il y a des tâches de moisissure à certains endroit. Ensuite le lit est en bois et ne regardais pas derrière la tête de lit vous allez prendre peur, ça n'a jamais été nettoyé vu l'état.
La salle de bain avec une douche et une baignoire.. L'eau sort de la baignoire pour aller se jeter dans un petit siphon situé juste devant les toilettes.. Très pratique au moins après la douche vous ne pouvez plus aller au toilette sans mettre les pieds dans l'eau... Bref je ne comprend pas comment la note moyenne est aussi haute pour cette endroit. Ça vaut a peine la moyenne malheureusement parce que je le re-dit la famille est vraiment adorable...

Ah oui est j'espère que vous n'avez pas la phobie des rats il y en a partout dans le jardin car ils jettent les reste de nourriture, eau sale à proximité... Les rats se régalent et ça se voit parce qu'ils sont énorme..

Good view and breakfast was satisfactory. Staff was friendly.

The steps up to the rooftop were steep and narrow - lots of roosters around the place making noise and a temple next door.

Pros:

chambre parfaite, avec une très grande terasse vue sur le port. Belle maison traditionnelle. accès très rapide au port.
hôte très agréable. petit déjeuner exellent calme malgré la proximité avec le port

Cons:

la baignoire se déversait dans la douche!!!???
mais, c'est un détail
attention, un grand escalier étroit avec de très hautes marches pour accéder à la cahambre, pas accessible pour tous. heureusement, notre hôte a monté les valises!

Pros:

We only stayed for one night, but the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. The place is truly authentic, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. Having our breakfast there early in the morning was a real treat delicious food in a beautiful setting. We only wish we could have spent more time there!

A eally lovely stay, with exceptional hosts
Pros:

the family owners were lovely , generous people who gave me lots of info for the area, and helped me purchase and get to my ferry on time. THe breakfast was excellent, and brought to me in my room- on the 3rd floor that I had chosen for its amazing view! Everything was clean and the traditional woodwoork was truly beautiful. The bed was also super comfortable. IT was the perfect palce to stay in this harbor tow. Thank you!

Great Value. Best Service.
Pros:

This is a family run homestay. The room is big with separate living area and balcony. The room is a bit tired but clean and comfortable. The owners are lovely people and couldn’t be more accommodating.
Their main value proposition is the concierge service for the ferries (you buy the tickets from the homestay at the standard online price).
We were picked up from the airport (separate fee, standard price) had a good nights sleep, a good breakfast and then personally escorted to our ferry. It was completely seamless and trouble free.
We will certainly stay with Bayview House next time and use their services. If you are uncertain navigating Padang Bai harbor, Bayview House is the way to go.

Cons:

The room is a bit dated but good for the price charged. You could easily stay more than one night.

Great value and a really easy walk from the port, just a few minutes. The host was so lovely and her son is a driver so they organised my transport to the airport. The room had everything you need, was comfortable and clean and had gorgeous views of Padangbai and the ocean. Will definately return next time im there. Highly recommend
