Bay View House

Die Unterkunft ist ziemlich versteckt und kann nicht direkt mit dem Auto angefahren werden, unser Fahrer hat uns aber begleitet. Es gibt hier nur 2 Gästezimmer, wir hatten das Zimmer im 2. Stock mit riesiger privater Dachterrasse mit schönem Ausblick. Hier wird auch das Frühstück serviert.
Durch die zentrale Lage ist man in wenigen Minuten am Hafen, ideal wenn man wie wir am nächsten Tag mit einer Fähre weiterreist. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Престоят ни в този дом беше много добър. Местоположението напълно ни устройваше за нуждите ни. Домакините са много мили , осигуриха ни всичко нужно. Имат моторчета, лодки и др. Закуската е много добра. Съотношението цена качество отговаря. Исках да отседнем в дом балийски стил и не съжалявам 💜

Notre passage Padangbai n’a duré qu’une nuit. Cependant cette petite correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins, l’hôte était très gentille, la chambre propre et bien placée.

Bay View House was a fantastic place to stay in Padang Bai. The location is unbeatable, close to the waterfront, with beautiful views over the harbour and easy walking access to the beach, restaurants, dive shops and the ferry port.
The room was simple but very clean, spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a lovely balcony to enjoy the sea view. Everything felt well cared for, and it had a relaxed, homely atmosphere rather than a hotel feel, which we really appreciated.
What truly made the stay special was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with transport, activities or local advice. It genuinely felt like staying with family.
Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, and enjoying it with the view made it even better. Overall, Bay View House offers excellent value for money — you get a prime location, great views and outstanding personal service.

The family who owns the property are so kind and welcoming. They gave us restaurant recommendations and showed us how to get there. They also took us to an atm and to the port for our ferry. They were so kind and made us want to stay longer.
The bed is so comfortable in the room and breakfast was fantastic - fresh and delicious.

We recently stayed at Bay View House in Padangbai and overall had a really lovely experience. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, with a traditional Balinese style that gives it so much character and charm. It felt very authentic, and the hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

One thing to note is that the bathrooms are quite old and reflect the traditional style of the property. The tiles, taps and shower fittings are noticeably aged, which may not suit guests who prefer a more modern or updated feel but it does align with the overall aesthetic of the home.

The staircase to the upper level is also quite narrow and steeper than what some might be used to, which can feel a little daunting, especially when carrying luggage. That said, the hosts managed everything seamlessly for us and were incredibly helpful.

Overall, it was a unique and charming stay, perfect for those who appreciate traditional Balinese architecture and warm hospitality and we will definately come back.
