We agreed on an arrival time with the host, which was also the official check-in time. However, when we arrived, nobody was there to meet us, and the phone number provided was switched off.

The people already staying in the house (I assume permanent residents) were rude and unhelpful. The only advice they gave us was to keep calling the phone number, even though it was clearly turned off.

The host speaks neither English nor Russian, which makes communication extremely difficult for international guests. We finally managed to contact her the next morning via WhatsApp using Google Translate. My messages had been ignored, and nobody had even attempted to contact me after the missed check-in. If I had not called myself, there would have been no communication at all.

What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology. The host explained that she was at work, which is why her phone was switched off, and that she did not call back because my number was not saved in her contacts. She also said that we should have waited longer. For reference, we arrived at the agreed time (10:00 PM) and waited until 11:30 PM.

She also suggested that we should have knocked on doors and looked for her husband. Needless to say, we did exactly that and ended up disturbing other people late at night.

There was no discussion of compensation or any attempt to resolve the situation.

The room itself was acceptable, but the shared hallway constantly smelled of alcohol. One of the men living there appeared to be drinking heavily all the time. On one evening, he left his door open and was vomiting in plain sight.

I would never stay here again. I honestly do not understand how a business that accommodates tourists can operate when nobody involved can communicate in English.

Avoid if you expect reliable check-in, basic communication, or professional hosting standards.

Out door stairs could do with a little more light, and maybe a hand rail (although it is absolutely beautiful how it is, it's be more accessible and easier to navigate with a hand rail.)

Maybe if a shared washer and possibly a dryer was put in, as it was winter, we needed to wash snowsuit ect and get them dry, so we'd have to go into town which respectively was on 4/5 minutes drive, but for those who done hire a car a little longer.

Zarezerwowaliśmy te miejca miesiąc wcześniej przed wyjazdem przybywając na miejsce byliśmy bardzo rozczarowani.Zostaliśmy zakwaterowani w brudnych ,śmierdzących pokojach.Jeśli chodzi o właściciela obiektu nie wiadomo co to kto to .Pod naszą nie obecność zauważyliśmy że szabrowali w naszych pokojach. Uciekliśmy stamtąd i szukaliśmy kolejnych pokoi na własną rękę. Mam nadzieje że booking się za tą panią weźmie i nie będzie oszukiwać więcej ludzi.
