Richard was very welcoming, beautiful 400yr old cottage with original character. And his home made jam and honey was amazing.

Cons:

Only down side for me was the bed too firm for me and partner liked it

Pros:

Friendly host who makes delicious breakfast in the morning, and provided great recommendations for local walks. Peaceful room which was full of character, and lovely lounge space with lots of books and maps! Well located for trips to Hay on Wye and the Black Mountains.

Cons:

No standing shower and some low ceilings due to the style of the building!

Typisch Engels onderkomen in een historische cottage.
Pros:

Cons:

Niks

Great stay, highly recommend
Pros:

I loved every moment, very lovely and homely accommodation. The host was just great and accommodating and gave a wonderful experience for us, he provided an exceptional breakfast and he even played his accordion which was actually a brilliant touch to the whole feel. I could not recommend this place anymore.

Cons:

Nothing

Horrendous!! If you would like my husband’s email address it is [email protected] where he will be able to supply
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

It was dirty & it stank. The bedding was not clean & my grandson had to sleep in his clothes. There was a mousetrap in the pantry & three more in the airing cupboard & my husband has photographic evidence of these. I wasn’t there but my husband was reluctantly staying there with our grandson. The windows were filthy & the garden completely unkempt. The cottage was full of spiders & the whole experience was horrendous.

A good bed and a very nice breakfast in a rustic home hosted by a nice man.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. Richard did an excellent job and provided vegan croissants and oat milk to accommodate our allergies. He was very kind and pleasant. The house is quite rustic and charming in that way.

Cons:

Sounds in any room are pretty audible from other rooms - limited privacy. There is no AC and with the extreme heat, that was a bit difficult. There are also no blackout curtains (or any on some windows). A few bugs due to open windows and no screens.

The worse place we have ever stayed and felt trapped we knew we had to stay overnight
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The room was dirty with spiders and cobwebs everywhere.(photos to prove this) The sheets were dirty with holes in overall awful. We had to sleep on top of the bed with our outdoor clothes on. We are both in our 70's travelled all day, and it was after five when we arrived so could not find anywhere else to go.
