Pros:

Great location for tourists and convention centre.

Cons:

Shower floor not properly sloped resulting in most water not draining but remaining in shower or flowing onto bathroom floor.
No housekeeping provided for a three night visit.
Air conditioner unit had difficulty keeping room cool.

Pros:

Very comfortable well appointed apartment in the heart of Downtown Halifax. Close to Argyle St dining area and walking distance to The Citadel, Art Gallery and Waterfront. 10 minutes walk to airport shuttle bus and casino. Comfortable bed and large walk in hot shower.

Convenient location for downtown Halifax. Online check in and access using the codes provided worked well. The secure luggage room was useful. The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting area was pleasant. Earplugs were kindly provided on the nightstand! (*Do take the description of the nightlife in the area seriously.)

Cons:

Our suite was split level, with a fairly steep, narrow staircase that did not have a full handrail. The bedroom and toilet were upstairs, as well as an office area, but the shower was downstairs. This was not apparent when we booked. Taking our suitcases upstairs would have been too difficult. It was also challenging to find a convenient drop off / pick up point, but there are some loading zone spaces around the corner on Blowers St that saved the day.

Excellent option for a downtown stay on a budget
Pros:

This is an excellent downtown location. There was a full apartment sized fridge, stove and dishwasher in our room, excellent for an extended stay. The room was very large, clean and smelled great! You could easily fit a playpen or a little one if required.

Cons:

Walls are a little thin so we could hear nosies from other guests.

There was a panel between this apartment and the next one that was not soundproofed so noise came into the bedroom. Needs attention.

Geweldige locatie en schoon, comfortabel appartement
Pros:

Locatie was geweldig. Het appartement was schoon en koel. Handig dat je online kon inchecken en codes kreeg voor toegang.

Cons:

Als je voor 12 u naar bed gaat, hadden we op 1 kamer wat overlast van de muziek. Maar lagen oordopjes klaar en waren vooraf goed geïnformeerd. Voor ons was het geen probleem, maar als je vroeg naar bed wilt zou je dit als vervelend kunnen beschouwen. Voor ons was het top!

Belles chambres au cœur du centre-ville et de l’action
Pros:

Emplacement idéal au cœur du centre ville d’Halifax. L’appartement était beaucoup plus joli que sur les photos. C’était très propre, en bonne condition et très bien équipé. Oreillers en quantité suffisante. Basé sur les nombreux commentaires ainsi que sur la communication du propriétaire nous étions passablement anxieux concernant le bruit (a la fois extérieur (bars et dans la rue) et celui provenant d’autres chambres). Finalement ce fut beaucoup moins pire qu’appréhendé, probablement parce que nous y sommes allés un dimanche et lundi (bars fermés) et que la météo ne favorisait pas les terrasses.

Cons:

Les fenêtres de notre chambre donnent sur des murs d’édifices voisins. Au salon il n’y a qu’un « love seat » pour un appartement à 3 chambres. Il y avait seulement 2 capsules de café alors que nous étions 3 pour 2 nuits! Le propriétaire mérite A+ pour ses efforts de communication mais parfois trop est comme pas assez! Les longs messages sont pénibles à lire sur un téléphone lors de déplacements. Certains messages pourraient être condensés pour en faciliter la lecture. Aussi certaines informations auraient été utiles à savoir avant de réserver, telles que quelles chambres sont le plus exposées au bruit (dont la nôtre!)

Sehr gelungener Aufenthalt in einem Zimmer über den Erwartungen.
Pros:

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Zimmer, großes Bad, bequeme Betten, Klimaanlage, TV, wirklich alles vorhanden, sehr gut und sehr sauber. Putzfrau mega freundlich und sehr ordentlich. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für Halifax absolut topp! Lage wirklich zentral. Online Check-In sehr einfach machbar! Frühstück derzeit nicht verfügbar, aber in der Mache, ebenso wie eine Bar im Haus!

Nix, war alles deutlich über den Erwartungen.
