The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Although it's a little way from Toronto, the location still has a lot going for it - a lot of places to eat/drink and some interesting independent shops, plus the local beach. Plentiful towels and toiletries supplied. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.
The available appliances for preparing food felt like they could do with an upgrade/modernisation. Also in the room that I stayed in there was a lack of natural light, I guess due to the direction the main windows were facing - not a major issue but an observation that might impact some people.

Exactly what I needed. Cute, comfy, and convenient.
Einfach perfekt, weil alles vorhanden war, um sich auch selbst zu versorgen. Es war auch extrem sauber. Die Lage ist sehr schön, gleich ist man am Beach. Mit einem elektrischen Heizofen war es sehr gemütlich.
Alles war einfach super, jedoch waren die Schritte der Gäste im 1. Stock sehr hörbar.

Very nice, clean room and excellent location.
Soundproofing of the house is terrible -- even normal walking of upstairs neighbours sounds very loud at night. Washroom downstairs is not optimal.
Everything! The location is excellent, the room and furnishings are very comfortable, and there were many personal touches that made the stay exceptional.

Fantastic stay for 6 nights at The Beaches Townhouse. I stayed on the top floor apartment, which is exceptionally well equipped and includes a very large bath and possibly the best shower I've used in any hotel or apartment I've stayed. Everything you need to be self sufficient is provided and the apartment is spotlessly clean. There are also two balconies to the front and rear, which I couldn't use due to the weather, but add an additional bonus. Shops and amenities are 5 minutes walk, as is the picturesque shoreline. Kataya was also very helpful and super responsive with a couple of questions. I can't recommend this place enough - 10/10
Not a complaint, but a tip. The streetcar system is a 5 mins walk to catch into downtown - however due to construction of the new subway route, takes an eternity - an hour in one case. The much better option is get the frequent bus outside of the apartment to Woodbine station (takes 10 minutes), you can then get the subway into downtown, which takes 15 mins
