Excellent pool!

I REALLY wanted to love this place and there is a lot of upside to this property. The grounds are really cute and fun. The rooms are trendy and comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious food. The location is ideal if you're visiting the Domain area of Austin.

I stayed here twice - on consecutive weeks while traveling for business. I had two different rooms on different floors - 3rd and 2nd floor, respectively. Sadly, during both stays I had to contend with cockroaches. I'm from Seattle - we don't really have cockroaches and while I travel often (and frequently to Austin), I don't think I've ever actually encountered a cockroach before. Both times it happened in the bathroom during my shower - a very vulnerable position to be in while trying to contend with shockingly large, fast-moving and incredibly creepy intruders. After the first encounter, I was willing to give the property the benefit of the doubt - considering it a one-off thing. Sadly, after the second encounter, I just can't bring myself to give it another try.

In discussing the situation with colleagues, I learned that a few of my coworkers have tried it and were also similarly chagrined - two checked out early - due to what they described as asthma-triggering mustiness in the rooms. I didn't notice that particular issue, but given multiple data points, I would also caution people with sensitive noses or conditions like asthma to avoid this property as well.

I'm sad that this place didn't work out - I really thought this was going to be my go-to property in the Domain, but I just can't deal with the roach situation.

From the moment I arrived at Lone Star Court, the front desk and concierge team made a wonderful first impression. The service was warm, polished, and genuinely welcoming without feeling rehearsed. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to assist with questions and recommendations.

The concierge experience truly stood out—Chris was professional, personable, and accommodating. He made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another check-in. That level of hospitality sets the tone for the entire stay.

Amazing hotel, check in was a breeze and the front office manager was inviting and kind. I highly recommend staying here. The pool was clean and they even had a very spacious and comfortable lounge area with fire pits.

Had such an amazing experience at the hotel! Chris from the front desk took such care of us. The rooms and property are so nice and well kept. Great location! Will be back!

More of an experience & ranch feel than a cold noisy hotel

We had an incredible time at Lone Star. Easy access to so many good restaurants, there’s a bunch to do around and at the hotel for the kids and the parking is abundant. Will definitely come again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and we absolutely loved it! This is seriously the cutest Western-style hotel so charming, cozy yet modern and full of the sweetest details. It made our anniversary stay feel extra special and memorable. The Lone Star Court is a beautiful place to stay, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Chris was especially helpful in showing me the amenities and assisting me with registering my parking. His kindness and helpfulness really made my stay even better.
