Mi-Hotel Ikebukuro 池袋

とにかく部屋が汚い。清掃が全くされていない。床にはゴミやら埃やら髪の毛がたくさん。ベット下は埃だらけでお金も落ちていた。お風呂はカビ。エアコンは埃とカビで健康被害の恐れあり。

アメニティ類が足りなさすぎる。具体的には汚い床なのにスリッパなし（汚い床を素足で）。時計の電池切れ。ファブリーズが空の状態で放置。3名で3泊予定でしたがトイレットペーパーが1つだけ。すぐに持って来ると言いながら翌日の15時と言い、予定時間にも持ってこない始末。

Our room was literally located right next to a factory/workplace, where employees constantly walked up and down a fire escape directly outside our window. They were frequently standing there and looking straight into our room, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and completely deprived of privacy.

It was a terrible experience that sadly ruined the end of our Japan trip, which had otherwise been absolutely amazing. Throughout our entire journey in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, we have only given 10/10 ratings, and this is the first time in the 15 years we have been travelling with Booking.com that we have given such a low score.

This place is simply not suitable for people to stay in. It feels more like a storage facility for goods than a place for guests. The environment is unpleasant, claustrophobic, and uncomfortable, with people constantly standing outside and looking directly into the space where you are sleeping.

We would strongly advise against staying here.

I have travelled extensively for many years. I am the author of several Scandinavian travel books (With the Family to the Land of the Sun, Chronic Travel Fever, Wanderlust, and ... and a member of the Danish Adventurers' Club. In more than 14 years of travelling with Booking.com, I have never experienced accommodation as disappointing as this.
The photographs accurately reflect the condition of the property.
The bed linen and even the mattress had yellow stains. The apartment lacked basic kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses and cutlery, making it difficult to prepare even simple meals.
The air conditioning does not reach the bedroom. After we complained, the hotel provided a small fan.
The apartment is extremely noisy, and we have barely slept. Privacy is virtually non-existent. One side faces a metal staircase leading to what appears to be a factory or workplace, where workers regularly stop and look directly into our room. On the other side is another external staircase used by hotel guests with suitcases. People are constantly passing our windows.
We asked to be moved to another room, but our request was refused. We have also contacted Booking.com to request compensation and are still awaiting their decision.
Our biggest disappointment was the misleading information about the balcony. A private outdoor space was important to us, so we contacted the hotel before our stay. They replied: "We sincerely apologize for the incorrect information provided earlier. After reconfirming, we would like to assure you that the studio apartment you booked does have a balcony. Please rest assured". We replied: Okay, thanks for your reply. It's important for us to be able to spend some time out on the balcony. "The reality is that the so-called balcony is only about 30 cm (12 inches) deep and is actually an external access walkway. Workers and guests constantly walk past, often stopping to look directly into our room.

Rien tout était nickel

C'était un séjour catastrophique qui a malheureusement failli gâcher notre séjour à Tokyo.

Tout d'abord, nous venions de Kyoto et souhaitions envoyer directement nos bagages, mais cela n'était pas possible car il n'y a NI personnel NI réception dans cet "hôtel". Tout se passe de manière autonome. La seule alternative est la chaîne Yamato qui possède un point de relais pas très loin (quand même 15 min à pied). De plus, il y a uniquement des escaliers et pas d'ascenseurs pour accéder aux chambres. Si vous avez plusieurs bagages, il faut prendre en compte cela.

Ensuite, le nom de l'hôtel tel qu'il est présenté sur Booking est faux. Nous avons perdu tellement de temps à chercher cet hôtel, surtout car il porte le nom de Ikebukuro alors qu'il n'y est pas. Cet hôtel ne s'appelle pas Mi-hotel et n'est pas du tout à Ikebukuro. Il s'appelle One stage Hostel et l'arrêt de métro le plus proche est à une station de métro de Ikebukuro.

Finalement, l'état de la chambre est désastreux, et je parle surtout de la propreté. Je n'ai jamais vu une chambre d'hôtel aussi sale dans toutes celles que j'ai faites au Japon. À peine arrivées, nous constatons que le ménage n'a été fait que sommairement mais nous avions décidé de passer outre. Cela n'était en revanche plus possible et inadmissible lorsque nous avions trouvé un cafard dans la chambre 3 jours après notre arrivée. Nous avons tout de suite signalé ceci à l'hôtel via Booking, puisque je le rappelle, aucune réception dans cet hôtel, mais quelle fut notre surprise concernant la réactivité du personnel. Ils ont exigé que nous leur envoyons comme preuve une vidéo du cafard (qui s'était entre temps caché dans l'appartement) et l'hôtel a refusé de nous changer de chambre sous prétexte que tout était plein. Il a également refusé de nous dédommager pour que nous changions d'hôtel.

鍋子狀況不佳無法使用，原本有打算簡單自炊，後來只好都使用微波爐。

如果行李很多的話可能協調一下能不能住一樓，有點意外沒有電梯。
