None of my texts nor emails were replied to, we asked to change rooms after checking in.

We were not happy with the standard of the accommodation especially for the exorbitant price. If the price had been fair we would have minded on the condition of flat etc.

In my opinion it was completely over priced x 3. We are paying £315 a night for a studio.


Huge walk with heavy suit case. We were on the very top. Maybe the other floor have better suites but then the top suites should be cheaper,

Flat very hot. Tiny windows, balcony doesn't open. At these prices would expect air conditioning.

Low ceiling. Not like photos. I asked to change room.

In addition. The sofa bed is badly stained & uncomfortable. No mattress protection. We had to make the bed ourselves.

The main bed was comfortable.

The glasses still have 2 x price stickers .

Cheap shampoo & body gel. Same as you get in US cheap travel motels in the 80ies.

Stains on wall.

Nespresso machine but no capsules. We had to go out to buy at 8:30pm.

We wish our texts and concerns had at least been addressed in which case I would not have to give feedback this way!

The location however is very central and convenient.

Gleich zu Beginn: Nur die Lage hat den Erwartungen entsprochen!

Cons:

Bei Ankunft - während der wärmsten Tage des Jahres - war die Heizung auf 100% an; der Knopf zum Abdrehen war kaputt. Wir mussten bei voller Heizung mit offener Tür - in einen Hof - schlafen, da man die Fenster nicht öffnen konnte. Eine Kommunikation mit den Vermieter:innen war schlichtweg nicht möglich: keine Reaktion auf 4 Nachrichten und einen Anruf.
Am zweiten Tag war dann plötzlich die Heizung aus, aber es hat keine einzige Steckdose mehr funktioniert: Wir konnten unsere Handys nicht laden, keinen Fön nutzen und die Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank wurden nicht mehr gekühlt. Auch hier wurde uns nicht geholfen!
Weitere Anmerkungen:
- Duschkopf total kaputt, wir mussten ihn abschrauben und wie mit einem Schlauch duschen
- keine Steckdose im Bad; kein Spiegel bei einer Steckdose
- nichts, um im Bad auch nur ein Handtuch aufzuhängen
- Küchenschränke zum Teil kaputt
- kaum Geschirr vorhanden
- Ausziehsofa von schlechter Qualität; die Kinder mussten aufpassen, wie sie sich bewegen, dass sie nicht rausfallen
- kaum Möglichkeiten etwas abzulegen; gleichzeitig war aber sehr viel "Deko" am Bett, die man eigentlich nirgends verstauen kann

Saved our weekend!
Pros:

This place was an absolute lifesaver, and we couldn't be more grateful.

We were a group of three friends who had originally booked another place from 17th-19th July. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Friday, the original host let us down, leaving us without anywhere to stay for our first night.

Thankfully, we found Julia's place. She was incredibly understanding of our situation, kindly allowing us to check in early and even offering a late check-out, which made a stressful situation so much easier.

The apartment itself was exceptional and very easy to find. It had everything we needed, including towels, an iron and ironing board, a toaster, fridge, washing machine, and TV. To top it all off, we were warmly welcomed with a lovely box of biscuits, which was a thoughtful touch.

The location is also fantastic - close to the city centre, making it easy to get around and explore without any hassle.

We highly recommend staying here and will definitely book again if we're back in the area. Thank you again, Julia for your kindness and hospitality!

Comodo al centro ma da rivedere arredamento
Pros:

Vicino alla stazione ed al centro che si raggiunge in 10 minuti massimo!
Stanza abbastanza grande e cucina fornita!

Cons:

Wi-Fi che non funzionava, quando lo hanno ripristinato era molto lento
Pulizia da rivedere, moquette sporca e in bagno il soffione grande perdeva dall'attacco e bagnava tutto il bagno! L'ultimo giorno mancava l'acqua calda!

Cons:

Lo que menos me gustó es que no tiene ningún tipo de ventilación y había elementos de la cocina como el horno y microondas que necesitaban una mejor limpieza.

Really enjoyed Edinburgh - a lovely place to visit and having a central

The location was perfect for walking around Edinburgh. Everything was seamless - directions were perfect on the location and how to access the property. It was very comfortable and clean. Any contact with staff was responded to quickly and they were always very helpful
