Good location but terrible stay
Pros:

The room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. The location was GREAT!

Cons:

Even though there was space for a couch there were two tiny Kmart looking armchairs which were super uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was placed in front of the door that when the neighbouring apartment came in and out of had doors slamming because of the weighted closure system and the light pouring in from under the door. The tv was tiny and placed up too high to watch comfortable from the chairs or the bed. Also, not noted until arrival was the refurb of the pool area with no access to pool, sauna or spa. The refurb works were from 7am to 4 pm in the week and the jack hammering sound went right through the room and I was on the 7th floor. So much for relaxing holiday

It was average, asking guest to clean and take rubbish to ground level is not adequate service.
Pros:

Location is Nice. Property was clean.
Pool & Spa was closed due to maintenance, I am not sure if it remains like that throughout the year.

Cons:

Hotel staff left note that guests have to clean the property themselves before checkout, otherwise they will charge extra. I haven’t been notified about this prior to booking otherwise I would have seek another option.

$300 deposit - too much for such a run down property.

Parking. 0/10
We parked on the lower level, and to get to the level with the lift there was a set of stairs. Locked with a door - which we were given a card for. The card did not work.
We ended up having to walk up the ramp (with our luggage!) found the door leading to the lifts. Locked. Our key didn’t work. Walked around to another door. Key finally worked on this one.
Saw luggage trolleys - yay. Except they were locked up. Unable to be used! What?!
Annnnnnd parking was $20 but it was not advised there was a fee. I found out on today (23/02/26) they’d deducted it out of security deposit!! This is the first I’d learned about a parking fee or any charges from a deposit. Nothing in writing only verbally stated.
I asked for something in writing - itemised receipt.
Got an email with a sentence about what happened but nothing official - and nothing to PROVE my money had been released!

Room 1/10
Bed was very uncomfortable and caused back pain. It was like sleeping on top of springs. The sheets had a musty smell.
The lamp did not work.
There was mould and peeling paint in the bathroom.
The floor was so dirty our feet were black.

We had to take our own rubbish and do our own dishes. I’m sorry I thought this was a resort.

I am so disappointed and I expected more of a Gold Coast “resort”

could have been so much better but ended up being really bad

Very good place (9) if not for the 3 negatives below

Cons:

1. last night of the stay (20 June) we were kept awake late in to the night (12.30 pm from memory) due to partying from the next unit.
2. heavy smoke smell on the same night, couldn't stay out in the balcony
3. real problem with finding car part. we were told by reception that owners double park.

Looks like this place is mostly owners and not for renters. then why both rent out!

Never going back.
Cons:

Didn’t get a sea view room- was facing the river and was told “the sea view is around the side”.
Carpark was a nightmare due to renovations on the pool. I got parked in as residents and guests have nowhere to park so they parked in the driveway to the lower level.
Swipe cards didn’t work at most doors or exits/entries. Absolute disaster of a stay.

Great location, room needs upgrading
Pros:

Location fabulous, staff were great and welcoming, good place to stay if you were planning on being out and about all day

Cons:

TV only has local channels, bathroom needs renovating, no pressure in water, glad we weren’t at the beach each day. bed not very comfortable and lack of essential items which we needed to buy everything and throw away at the end of the stay
