Maria's Place - Adults Only

Annna was super warm welcome and waited for me even I arrived there at late night.
Not only, she made me feel very comfortable and helped me to make sure my staying was enjoyable.
A bit away from the center of Oia, but it turned out be better to be away from packed among tourists.
If I go back to Santorini, I will definitely staying there again. Thank you so much!

As a travel photographer who has been travelling professionally around the world for years, I can honestly say that Maria’s Place is one of the most genuinely memorable stays I’ve had. I honestly don’t even know where to start. The location could not be better — only a short 5–6 minute walk from the caldera and Oia’s iconic views, yet peaceful, quiet and with the huge advantage of easy parking, which in Santorini is priceless.

I travelled with my parents during this trip and this place made everything so comfortable for us. My father cannot walk long distances easily, so having such easy access without endless stairs completely changed the experience for him. My mother is extremely demanding when it comes to cleanliness — the kind of person who notices everything — and even she was impressed. The room was spotless and maintained to an exceptional standard.

The breakfast was honestly outstanding. Fresh homemade products every morning, so much variety, and many ingredients coming directly from their own garden. It felt authentic, local and full of care rather than something generic made for tourists.

But what truly makes this place special are the people. Anna was absolutely amazing from the first moment. Warm, professional, incredibly kind and genuinely passionate about the island. She knows Santorini inside out and helped us discover beautiful places and experiences we would never have found otherwise. You can immediately feel the heart behind this place.

After years of travelling internationally and staying in countless hotels and accommodations, I can say that Maria’s Place has something rare today: authenticity, warmth and soul. I honestly could not recommend it enough.

Very clean property with a kind helpful host. Quiet but close to restaurants and shops of Oia.

Bardzo ładny hotel z bezproblemowym dojazdem do samego ośrodka. Obsługa bardzo miła i bardzo pomocna w organizacji wypoczynku. Rzetelne informacje o wyspie ze wskazaniem na atrakcje. Sniadania pyszne oparte na wlasnych produktach i wlasnej kuchni. Pokoje i basen utrzymane w doskonałej czystości. Bardzo polecamy i serdecznie pozdrawiamy.

Accommodation was great- was comfortable and had everything you needed. Situated a short walk from the main pedestrian street in Oia which I liked as it was good to get away from the hustle and bustle. Anna was very welcoming and spent time explaining how to get around the island and how everything works. I would definitely stay at Maria’s place again.

L accueil, chaleureux malgré l heure tardive. La sympathie d Anna, toujours présente, toujours souriante, pleine de bons conseils. Elle a même réussi à accepter ma pauvre connaissance de la langue grecque et à me féliciter lorsque je tentais péniblement de m exprimer dans sa langue natale!!
L emplacement, proche du centre, mais suffisamment éloigné pour vivre au calme.
La propreté des installations et la multiplicité des moyens mises à notre disposition ( micro-ondes, cafetières, sèche cheveux,...)
La jolie piscine , bien protégée des vents dévastateurs.
L excellent petit-déjeuner.
Même les chats étaient sympathiques.
Mais je conclurai en soulignant que l image marquante que retiendront certainement tous les occupants de cet hôtel sera celle de la personne qui le dirige, omniprésente et tellement chaleureuse.

L'emplacement est parfait, à 10 minutes à pied du centre et très calme.
La piscine n'est pas chauffée mais permet déjà la baignade en cette saison.
2 chaînes de télé en français.
Appartement agréable avec vue mer.
Anna très à l'écoute et attentionnée. Excellent petit déjeuner.

I especially loved everything available in the kitchen. It was very convenient and accessible to use. Everything else was also great within the bedroom and bathroom.

Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms; with a delicious breakfast and Ana was a very kind host.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons à Maria's place , d'ailleurs c'est ce qui a motivé notre retour à Santorin ! L 'accueil d'Anna et de Costa ( nos hôtes ) est toujours aussi chaleureux , ils sont toujours autant aux petits soins avec leurs vacanciers ! L'endroit est calme tout en étant à quelques centaines de mètres du centre animé d Oia ou des super petits restos du charmant village de Finikia, à 2 pas .Cette fois nous avons séjourné dans un grand studio tout confort avec jacuzzi sur la terrasse, vue mer ,piscine et coucher de soleil : le top ! le délicieux petit-déjeuner ( inclus ) se prend dans la salle commune près de la réception , avec les autres clients ( généralement des couples )et les nombreux chats ! On se sent vraiment en famille ! Cerise sur le gâteau : le tarif ultra compétitif pour Santorin ! C 'est sur, nous reviendrons une troisième fois !
