Naxos Mare

We stayed at Naxos Mare for 12 days and had an absolutely wonderful holiday.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The owner, Sofia, is incredibly warm and hospitable and goes above and beyond to make sure every guest has a great stay. Her personal attention truly makes a difference.
The entire resort is beautifully maintained. Everything is spotless, well cared for, and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool is peaceful, the water temperature is perfect, and there are several comfortable, high-quality outdoor seating areas around the pool where you can relax.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. The air conditioning works perfectly in every room, which is a huge plus during the hot summer days.
The beds are very comfortable and feature a long footboard, making them suitable even for taller guests. Housekeeping does an excellent job, and fresh towels are provided regularly.
The food was excellent every single time. They also got you covered if you are looking for some simple and delicious snacks like salads and such.
The cocktails, mocktails, and milkshakes are also highly recommended. At the end of the day, it's the perfect place to enjoy a drink while watching the beautiful sunset.
The beach is just a short walk from the resort. Naxos is also a fantastic island to explore by rental car, and Naxos Mare is an ideal base for visiting the island's stunning beaches and charming traditional mountain villages.
We highly recommend Naxos Mare to anyone looking for a small-scale, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay on Naxos. Thank you, Sofia, for making our holiday so special. We truly hope to return one day!

It was quiet, relaxing, and had beautiful views. The rooms were spacious and clean.

The staff were outstanding. Sofia was incredibly helpful, and so was the rest of the staff.

It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. At night, the view and quiet is exceptional.

Food is really good and affordable considering the Euro.

I would easily come back to this place again. It is a family run hotel and we felt at home the entire time.

Posizione perfetta, vicinissimo alle spiagge più belle dell’isola. Tutto molto curato nei minimi dettagli. Piscina bella, viene pulita ogni mattina. Staff gentile e pronto a accontentarti. Appartamento piccolo ma dotato di tutto il necessario per brevi soggiorni. Presente phon per capelli, aria condizionata, piastre per cucinare.

Beautiful property, everything was nice from the rooms to the pool area. The staff was so friendly, and the breakfast trays in the morning are incredible

Pizzas and club sandwiches were really good, room and pool really clean, and great lounge chair options.

An exceptional place to stay in Naxos. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained and in the perfect location, just a short walk from stunning beaches and excellent restaurants.

What made our stay truly special were the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, from helping with laundry to offering advice and assistance whenever we needed it.

The greatest example of their kindness came on our last day when we accidentally left a watch behind. They drove all the way to the ferry to return it to us, an act of generosity we will never forget.

If you’re visiting Naxos or planning to explore the Greek islands, put Naxos Mare at the top of your list. Outstanding hospitality and a wonderful place to stay. We can’t wait to return.

Great location, beautiful pool area, lovely staff.

è una struttura, bella,pulita,ogni camera ha un balcone con di fronte la piscina, ed in lontananza si può godere del mare al tramonto.
Sofia ci ha accolto benissimo ed è stata disponibile in ogni momento.
è una struttura a gestione familiare ed ogni membro è delizioso.
le stanze sono super attrezzate:ogni stanza ha il suo condizionatore e televisione, ha un kit saponi doccia ed asciugamani.la cucina è attrezzata di piano cottura ,frigo, stoviglie e pentole, kit per pulizia.
noi abbiamo fatto la colazione in struttura; con 7euro avevamo yogurt,meravigliosa marmellata fatta in casa(la proprietaria ci ha fatto assaggiare diverse marmellate che fa, davvero deliziose),toast,frittata,brioches(ogni giorno il menu cambiava e tutto era fatto in casa),Orange juice.è stata un'esperienza incantevole.

The friendly family run vibe, clean and very comfortable. The beds were really comfy, rooms lovely with nice touches like the lovely toiletries. Brilliant and affordable food and bar service, great location near the beach with restaurants and bars and delicious bakery. Gorgeous views from the accommodation. Just all round great place to stay.

Välskött och mysigt hotell en kort promenad från stranden i Agia Anna. Lugnt och avslappnat, jättefint poolområde och poolbar och mycket trevliga ägare som tog väl hand om oss. Rummet hade utsikt över både havet utanför Agia Anna såväl som färjorna som kom och gick i hamnen i Naxos stad. Vi lagade egen frukost.

Super Ruhelage etwa 8 Gehminuten vom Strand und den Lokalitäten entfernt.die Lage mit Meerblick und dem fantastischen Pool ist top. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, werden auch häufig gereinigt. Schöne Poolbar.
Die Gastfreundschaft wird hier sehr hoch geschrieben. Sehr freundlicher Familienbetrieb. Duschgel etc. werden bereitgestellt. Angenehme Betten. Transfer vom Hafen zum Hotel ist günstiger als mit dem Taxi.
Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

I had a wonderful stay at Naxos Mare and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. As a solo female traveller, feeling safe is really important to me, and I felt completely comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel has such a warm, family-run atmosphere that it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel.

Sophie was absolutely exceptional. She gave me such a warm welcome from the moment I arrived and was always attentive, kind and happy to help with anything I needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Her mum, dad and daughter Margarita were equally lovely, making every guest feel genuinely welcome. You can really see the care and pride the whole family put into running the hotel.

The food at the pool bar was exceptional – freshly prepared, delicious and excellent value. I found myself eating there most days because it was so good.

My room was spotless and cleaned to a very high standard every other day, with fresh towels and everything I needed. The pool area was always clean and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island.

I left with wonderful memories and genuinely hope to return. If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming hotel where you’ll be looked after like family and feel completely at ease, especially if you’re travelling alone, I can’t recommend Naxos Mare highly enough. Lagom med folk, bra service, lugnt, lyxigt med poolen nästan för sig själv. Mycket fräscht och välstädat, trevligt med mat och dricka i anslutning till poolen.
