La tele ne fonctonnait pas je voulais voir un peu Roland Garros ....

Purtroppo ci sono diversi aspetti che hanno reso il soggiorno poco confortevole. L'arredamento della camera è molto spartano. Le inferriate esterne erano rotte e non si riuscivano a chiudere correttamente, e alcune prese di corrente non funzionavano.
IL BAGNO È PRIVO DI PORTA!
Manca qualsiasi tipo di gancio o appendino per i vestiti.
Per due giorni di soggiorno la dotazione è stata un po' misera (una sola confezione di sapone e un rotolo di carta igienica).

Infine, avendo caldo ho chiesto il telecomando del condizionatore, ma mi è stato risposto di aprire semplicemente la finestra.

The only downside is the check-in/check-out deposit process which is to me very time sensitive. Check-in is only available from 17:00 to 22:00 and must be done in person at another hotel about a 5-minute walk away. The deposit refund is also quite inconvenient, as you need again to go to Hotel Lyonnais between 8:30 and 10:30 to have it unblocked, which can be stressful if you have an early flight.

Would suggest to provide coffee capsules, since the coffee machine is provided but with no coffee capsules. Very strict check in and check out times. Check in is in a different location ~5min walk. The studio requires some maintenance works, but we were informed immediately at the check in and it did not affect our stay.

La camera puzzava di sigaretta e nonostante aprissimo le finestre questa puzza persisteva, non era ben pulita e ci è stato riferito dal receptionist di non sporcare la cucina altrimenti avremmo dovuto pulire noi, ciò ha molto da dire riguardo la pulizia dell’appartamento. Ogni volta che si utilizzava l’acqua (doccia, scarico ecc) le tubature emanavano una forte puzza di fogna che disgustava parecchio. Mancavano molti servizi principali come un sapone per le mani e ci è stato rifornito solo un campioncino monouso a testa di bagnoschiuma per due notti, non c’era un phon e gli spazi erano molto ristretti. Per i prezzi che girano nella città non era esagerato quindi tutto sommato considerando anche la posizione è passabile ma ci vuole molto spirito di adattamento.

I take full responsibility for making the mistake of booking this place, but future travelers need to know how this property operates. On Booking.com, you cannot message or ask a property about their specific policies until AFTER you complete and pay for the reservation.

As soon as the booking went through, I realized their reception closes at 10 PM. Since my flight lands at 11 PM, I immediately reached out. In the 21st century, any decent tourist accommodation offers basic self-check-in options, a key box, or a digital code. This place has absolutely none of that.

Instead of professional hospitality, what followed was a total collapse of human decency:

Ghosted for a month: They literally ignored my messages for FOUR WEEKS while I was trying to organize my trip.

Absurd "solutions": When they finally replied, their brilliant advice for a first-time tourist in Nice was to "change my flight" or "find a friend in Nice to pick up the key." They even compared their hotel reception to a Zara retail store.

Condescending & Xenophobic remarks: The staff actually text-lectured me about rules, and openly threatened to block my Booking.com account, adding the incredibly insulting line: "Since you are from Serbia, I won't block you for threats." Stating that I will leave a realistic review based on facts is NOT a threat—it is my right as a consumer!

They kept my money, refused a free cancellation, and showed zero flexibility. They are passive-aggressive, deeply unprofessional, and completely unsuited for the tourism industry. Avoid Résidence Appartement Adonis and Hotel Lyonnais at all costs.

Gros point négatif concernant la femme de l’accueil : j’ai eu le malheur d’arriver pendant sa pause cigarette, et clairement elle n’était pas ravie de m’accueillir.

Le matelas est beaucoup trop dur, et devoir faire 450 m à l’aller puis 450 m au retour juste pour récupérer les clés de la chambre, c’est clairement insupportable lorsqu’il fait chaud et qu’on a des valises.

Je pense d’ailleurs que ce devrait être la personne de l’accueil qui se déplace pour apporter les clés. Peut-être que prendre un peu l’air et faire un peu d’exercice la détendrait. Et pour finir 17h pour récupérer la chambre c’est beaucoup trop tard.
