Very stressful on the first day with no keys.

There is no reception. We arrived at 2 pm as stated in the email. After many calls to booking .com help line .(useless)
we finally heard from the owner who gave us the code for the lock box at the gate. By 4.45 we had given up and booked in elsewhere. In the ad. it reads The Esplanade, riverview holiday apartments Maroochydore. It should read Riverview holiday apartments ,The Esplanade, Maroochydore.

Lovely place
Pros:

Spacious and clean 👌

Cons:

Bit of a mix up at the start I didn't have a code to get in but owner rang and all sorted quickly. The birds live across the road and the are noisy when they wake up but only for a bit then they fly off to work for the day and a when they come home they are loud again but they go to settle quickly. Kinda cool but noisy.

Nothing wrong with the property, just frustrating getting access to apartment unable to contact Booking.com, waited 3 hours for confirmation for keys & access. 🙁

Had a very pleasant week and the accommodation was lovely.
Pros:

Great location across the road from the Maroochy River, Third floor balcony provided great views of the river and activity around it. The large gum trees across the road provided a great roosting spot of an evening for hundreds of rainbow lorikeets and corellas. Noisy till dark but a great site none the less.
