Please note that check-in is available between 16:00 and 21:00 directly at the apartment. Prior arrangement is not necessary.

Guests arriving by car can contact the property in advance. The property will provide parking suggestions in the area as well as directions to the property. Public parking is available in the surrounding area for a fee.

Please note that the entrance of the property is at the street corner Friedrichring 11/ Röderstraße.

Pets are allowed for an extra fee of EUR 15 per pet per day, this fee needs to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Please note that guests arriving by car need to purchase an environmental badge ('Umweltplakette') in advance due to the property's location within the low-emission zone of Freiburg.

Extremely disappointed. The room was insect infected.
Cons:

The 1st night's 4th floor room was insect infested as we found the next morning. We spent that morning until late afternoon (not in the flat) finding an independent (of the landlord) "Hausmeister" service. He came and confirmed the room was insect infected (he took photos - with a magnifying lens - of the tiny insects ). He emailed the photos to an insect removal expert service which confirmed the likely insect type.

We, with the "Hausmeister" present, explained the status and showed the photos and then asked the on-site temporary reception service (we recorded the service person's name) about swapping rooms. Initial answer - all rooms booked. He said he was calling his next level up contact to get instructions on what to do. No one answered. This day (Thursday) was a german public holiday. Only after we started mentioning - full refund of our 4 night booking and escalating the matter did he give us a room (ground floor, tv not working, noisy). We could not find a replacement flat at around the same price on the day of the public holiday. Freiburg seemed to be pretty well booked out.

A spoiled holiday. We will be asking booking.com for a full refund of our booking.

BTW: The photos that were taken are not uploaded (for now). And the reason is that, we aren't sure whether the publishing of the photos is OK under german laws.

Apartamento cómodo a un paso del centro histórico de la ciudad. Ideal para estancias de varios días.
Pros:

Situación excelente, a muy poca distancia del centro histórico y de la estación central (Hauptbanhof), con supermercados y aparcamientos muy cercanos. Apartamento cómodo, con buen acceso mediante ascensor; bien equipado y limpio. Personal amable y colaborador. Nosotros lo hemos utilizado como base para visitar la ciudad y también otros destinos de la parte sur de la Selva Negra.

Cons:

El único aspecto negativo que impide darle la máxima puntuación es la cama king size. Pese a ser cómoda, sus dimensiones hacen que esté totalmente encajonada entre tres paredes y solo pueda bajarse de ella por un lateral. Eso condiciona mucho en caso de necesidad de levantarse al baño.

Larger apartment was OK for the week.

Cons:

Advertised as including a washing machine in the kitchen when it does not. The main reason for booking here. Communal washing machine located in the basement. Complex is not always manned and found this out on arrival. Calls to number provided not answered and messages via booking.com not responded to.
