Cons:

0 stars if possible. Avoid residence antico torchio.

We'd already paid €460 up front. But on the day we arrived, just hours before check-in, they sprang an extra payment on us, rather than sorting it weeks ahead or after the stay like a normal place would. And they refused to tell us how to park or even get into the apartment until we'd paid it. Then, even after we paid and sent proof, the door was STILL locked. We had to wait for someone to come unlock it by hand.

A stressful, badly run welcome after a long day of travelling. There are far better places around Lake Como. Don't book this one.

I stayed for 2 nights at Resident Antico Torchio in Dervio.
What I liked:
- Great location, very close to Dervio station
- The host was very kind and helpful
- The apartment was modern and well equipped
- The lawn and garden area were very nice

Cons:

The towels could have been cleaner

Apartamento muy acogedor, con algún detalle a mejorar
Pros:

Buena ubicación en una zona muy tranquila. Un apartamento muy acogedor y bien equipado.

Cons:

Había hormigas. Todas las cuerdas de la cortinas estaban rotas y no podían subirse. Había varias bombillas fundidas.

Es gibt einen wunderschönen Garten mit eine sehr soliden und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnungen.

Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommen und aufmerksam was unsere Bedürfnisse anging.

What a great place to stay while you’re at Lake Como! It’s an easy 10 minute walk to a beautiful downtown, but far enoug
Pros:

Super clean and comfortable. Really well appointed, and nicely laid out. Everything in the apartment was the highest quality.

Cons:

A little tricky to find, but the host did a great job of sending videos that helped you locate it.

Pros:

The apartment was beautiful, with amazing views of the snowcap mountains! It was a short walk to the train station, the lake, and the Lakeside cafes and restaurants. The apartment itself was very tastefully done up and extremely clean.

Cons:

Just a little suggestion: would it be possible to have some travel plug converters available? That would make things a bit smoother for international guests.
