Pros:

It was self contained. Full kitchen. Pleasant surroundings and very nice walks nearby. Very easy, flat walk to centre of Merimbula

Pros:

The easy access to the beach and lake. Easy walking distance to the main street. The friendly staff making sure we had clean towels and sheets.

Cons:

The bed unfortunately needed upgrading it sagged on both sides making it hard to sleep without rolling out of bed. We used pillows under the mattress to take the sagging out and the staff were made aware.

Good Little fishpen apartment
Pros:

Lovely apartments, perhaps a little dated for some however very clean and great location. Friendly onsite management.

Cons:

Unfortunately the beds were a little tired for us as parents and our kids also made a comment that the beds they had weren't the most comfortable. This is our only negative.

Location was great, it is a smaller complex, so felt more cosy and family friendly.
All utensils were provided, even had sharp, sharp knives.

Great place to stay
Pros:

2nd time staying here, a great value venue in Merimbula with friendly helpful staff. Close to the beach, and a short walk gets you over to the main part of the city. The pool is awesome, well worth the stay. It’s not a 5 star luxury resort, but that’s also part of the appeal. It’s a good honest place to stay.

Kalindo was super comfortable and we were made to feel welcome
Pros:

I loved the garden with native vegetation to attract birds and a glass table with comfy chairs where I could have breakfast and watched the birds. Hubby really liked the eclectic decor on the walls. The staff and other guests were warm and friendly ... one night they invited us to have dinner with them around the glass table. It seems the same guests book every year to come back so that says a lot!

Cons:

Only one downside for me ... I felt guilty wasting water waiting ages for the hot water to kick in.
