Pros:

La lagune

Cons:

Le personnel qui n'est pas du tout aimable.
La vétusté du lieu, le ponton a des planches cassées partout cest hyper dangereux
La musique des voisins
La chambre avec vue lac mais avec un arbre tellement gros devant que l'on voit rien.
A l'étage il fait 35 degrés même avec la climatisation. Impossible d'y dormir.
La salle de bains est salle...
2eme nuit dans un autre hôtel moins cher et 10x mieux.
Ne perdez pas votre argent

Excelente ubicacion
Pros:

Excelente lugar, muy cómodo con acceso a la laguna ofrece la posibilidad de poder disfrutar el amanecer, una vista espectacular, su personal atento todo el tiempo pendientes

Cons:

Un poco complicada la llegada ya que hay que llegar por un camino de terraceria, como sugerencia poner letreros indicando distancias aproximadas

Struggled with heat and mosquitos. Bacalar is a treasure but infrastructure is not adequate.

Good access to the lagoon

Cons:

A lot of issues with electricity going down with no backup generator. Toilets, faucets, and AC all unusable the first night. Second night, sometimes outlets didn’t work. Staff didn’t show much effort to help or make amends especially the first night we came.

Beautiful location but sadly run down
Pros:

The absolute best views on the lagoon - stunning. They arranged private boat tour which was great. Available food service very handy as isolated location

Cons:

Sadly pontoons very poor shape, looked rundown with missing and unstable slats. Some TLC required here and also to the rooms. Hairdryer missing from room and never appeared despite 2 requests. Mixed experience with restaurant staff - day waiter Carlos very friendly and helpful but breakfast waiter quite abrupt almost rude.

Le cadre est magnifique, au bord de la lagune avec de nombreux espaces de détente.

Cons:

Rien. La route pour accéder par la droite (face au logement) est effectivement en très mauvais état. Par la gauche c'est un peu plus long mais correct.

Superbe villa vue sur le lagon. nous avons apprécié la balade en bateau privé réservé directement a l'hôtel.

Incroyable
Pros:

L’emplacement est incroyable, les chambres donnent sur la lagune, tout est pensé pour la détente, des transats, des hamacs, jacuzzi sur la terrasse des chambres. Les chambres sont propres et confortables, décorées avec goût. Nous avons eu des soucis d’eau chaude, la réaction a été immédiate, et nous sommes partis très tôt un matin, la cuisine n’ouvre qu’à 8h30, le chef était là pour nous à 6h30, pour nous préparer le petit déjeuner. Personnel au top. Merci à tous

El lugar tiene excelentes habitaciones con vista a la laguna. La laguna tiene profundidad perfecta para nadar y disfruta

Accès à l'hôtel un peu difficile par une route pas très entretenue.

Pros:

One big room with three beds - great for families.

Cons:

Was advertised as 3 rooms, but was one big open space with 3 beds (1 in an open loft). Also room was directly above the kitchen and party area - smoke and noise. Much more expensive then neighboring places..

When you have arrived, the place is a little paradise (but only if the sun is shining). We liked the free kayaks and the clear water.

Cons:

The road from the main road to this place is awful and a very bumpy ride - your car won’t like it. If you want high class service and perfect cleaning, this is not the place for you. The staff seemed a bit confused in the restaurant and the communication was difficult. And regarding the ‘apartment’ - the one by the lake, we stayed at, it’s more than an open bungalow.
