Situation centrale au calme, entre villes et montagnes
Pros:

Situation au calme, idéale et centrale pour vadrouiller entre villes et montagnes. Balades dans Acireale et Taormine/Castelmola, randonnées sur Etna Sud et Etna Nord, baignades dans les gorges de Alcantara. Accès en moins de 10 minutes en voiture à toutes commodités (supermarché, boulangeries, restaurants...)

Wat waren wij gelukkig met Il Casale di Monacella.
Pros:

Teveel om op te noemen. Wat een prachtige accommodatie. Onder de rook van de ETNA is hier iets neergezet wat je verwachtingen overstijgt. Een heerlijk zwembad. Niet teveel appartementen. Geweldige locatie om terug te komen na diverse dagtrips. 10 dagen was mijn inziens nog te kort. Chapeau! Van alle gemakken voorzien. Een TOP locatie en zeker een aanrader om te boeken als je rondom de ETNA wil vertoeven. Vanuit deze locatie zijn we overal geweest tot zelfs Syracuse...

Cons:

Tja, wat viel mij tegen. Van de accommodatie helemaal niets. Alles was perfect. Maar buiten deze locatie is het ons zwaar tegengevallen. De route naar de snelweg (TOL) was dramatisch met zéér slechte wegen vol gaten, mafketels op de weg en het afval wat overal zomaar wordt gedumpt maakt van Sicilië een vies eiland. De Sicilianen moeten zich diep schamen. Het nodige niet uit om weer te gaan. Okay... Toeristische trekpleisters en bezienswaardigheden in overvloed. De natuur, de ETNA, allemaal prachtige dingen gezien. Godfather routes en locaties allemaal puik. Maar het zwerfafval erom heen is diep bedroevend. Wat waren wij gelukkig met Il Casale di Monacella.

D-na Monica, gazda, a fost prietenoasă, locația a fost excelentă, aproape de taverne și plaje, piscina curată, apartamentul a dispus de toate facilitățile.

Superbe villa pour découvrir l'est de la Sicile
Pros:

Un séjour enchanteur sur les pentes de l'Etna ! La villa est idéalement située pour explorer l'est de la Sicile (proche de Milazzo, Taormine, Bronte). Nous avons adoré le cadre : des terrasses cultivées d'orangers et de citronniers qui donnent un charme fou au lieu.
​Le logement est spacieux, très propre et fonctionnel, avec une terrasse privative sous pergola très agréable. La piscine (non chauffée) était déjà tout à fait baignable en mai !
​Un immense merci à la responsable qui est adorable, parle très bien français et a eu la gentillesse de nous accueillir à 23h30. On apprécie beaucoup le café à disposition et le petit 'minibar' (chips, boissons) en cas de besoin.

​Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Cons:

​Pour parfaire le séjour, il manquait juste quelques récipients (type Tupperware) pour conserver nos restes au frigo.

Heerlijk
Pros:

Warm ontvangen door Monica en heel prettig verblijf gehad. Schoon, veilig en prachtige tuin met zwembad en een schommel. Je kunt zelfs wandelen tussen de bomen met sinaasappels en citroenen. Mooi zicht op de Etna. De weg ernaartoe kent wat uitdagingen, maar met een auto goed te doen. In het kleine dorpje zijn voldoende faciliteiten.

Amazing place, facilities were clean and amazing. The pool was very clean and the whole premises was very well kept. We loved the small details in the garden. Monica was very helpful, attentive and gave really good recommendations for local supermarkets and restaurants.

Cons:

Nothing in particular, just note that it is a bit tucked away from the main cities so a car is a must.

Heerlijke plek om je lekker terug te trekken, maar toch voldoende bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.
Pros:

Het was heerlijk rustig, schoon en mooi.

Cons:

Zwembadwater was helaas te koud om lekker te kunnen zwemmen. En de ligbedden vond ik persoonlijk niet comfortabel.
